it's going to be hot this weekend so I'm going to be a potato... Take Chuck to forrest/river try to burn is little butt out.... then maybe a little nappy time....
My plan for the day is go grab the truck and mower and do my lawn and my grandparents lawn. Then I'll be attempting to save Pinkie from the crusher. As much as I dislike driving the Jeep instead of my truck it's still a nice little vehicle.
95 Jeep Wrangler w/hard top and soft top only 81,000 miles. It's got a salvage title, but it's been driven 20k or so since then and everything on it is ok except the radio doesn't hold pre-sets sometimes. Aside from that and the smell in the glove compartment you wouldn't know it happened.
Mom's thinking she wants to get the 4500 for it in the cash for clunkers thing and then buy a new minivan. It'd be a shame to see a vehicle with only 81,000 miles get crushed. JMO
Pete what happened that the jeep got written off? I must have missed that.
I agree with ya though, its a shame to see lots of stuff go through the crusher. Im not just a ford fan, im a vehicle guy, I like all kinds, from heavy machinery, to mopeds (old ones especially)

Not a thing. It was put into a pond before we bought it. We fixed it and have put 20k on it.
Mom's POS Dodge minivan is falling apart so she wants to trade the perfectly good Jeep in on the cash for clunkers program. That means a perfectly good Jeep would go to the crusher. I'm trying to prevent that.
you might be hard pressed to get 4500 for pinky with a salvage title...
why isnt she trading the minivan in...mpg too high for the program?
Spoon...The cash for clunkers program proveide $3500 to $4500 trade in value for vehicles with poor gas mileage....BUT...the vehicle has to go to a crusher...it cannot be resold.
oh...and its already 97°F (37°C) here at barely 10 am
