Thought I had a piece of ... well, something in my eye the last few days. Turns out not so. Gots me some Iritis. So I'm giving myself eye drops every hour to keep the swelling and redness down.
Other than that, everything's peachy. Work's good. My niece is getting baptized tomorrow. My wife picked out a picture frame for her, and got her a gift card to Toys R Us.
Shaved my head again earlier today. Took the wife out to dinner, had a mean burger with bacon, cheese, and apple butter sauce. Wife got her Caesar comped because it was "wilted" (not really, but it's just hormones), and got a free dessert too.
Now I'm just watching a dvd with my wife crashed on the other couch, and surfing FTE.
Geez man....take care of that eye. Sounds painful. When my daughter was about 2, we were goofing off one day wrestling around and playing. She was barefooted and kicked me in the eye and lacerated it. Just laid a flap over pretty as you please. The doctor said it looked like she'd done Lasic on me..LOL. Had to wear a clear contact in it for about a week and eye drops several times a day. Anything with my eyes drives me nuts.
Sounds like a great meal. We ate at Applebees tonight and I got a new BBQ chicken salad they had and Jamie had a Sante Fe salad. Great stuff. You're lucky. We complained about the service and food at Outback last time we were there and got handed a toll free number to their complaint center. I haven't been back and won't go back.
Baptism is a big and great thing. My oldest has been baptized but the two younger ones haven't yet. And, speaking of shaving, I'm gonna do mine on Monday before I go back to work. I can't stand for it to grow out.
Doing great! The rehab has helped a bunch and to be honest with you, seeing her now walking and such, I'd never know she'd had a heart attack. Her strength and stamina are about back to where they were before. Thanks for asking buddy!
Yeah, I'm heading that way shortly myself. When I'm on midnight shift, I try to stay on the same schedule even on my days off because it's easier than constantly trying to switch back and forth.
Well it wa sallrite once the 7 day weeks stopped. this week we are catching up so we can actuall have two days off. once peanut harvestin time comes around though we will back to 7 day weeks again.
that is the main reason i left the farm life back in 75. the constant 20 hr days, 7 days a week for 10 months out of the year was not my idea of fun.
and i have not worked a day since then. i consider what i do now going out for a ride, and getting paid to burn diesel fuel.
Caleb and the goat are fine I'd say but I hear there's some little goats runnin' around there saying "Daaaadddy"
I heard that too.
