Honestly it has been so wet here that I cannot ever remember having the mosquitos that we have now. You have to use repellant during the day. The county sprayed the other week it didn't seem to do any good though.

I must've looked like I had tourettes or something today constantly twitching my head trying to get the bugs out of my face when I was mowing.
This is miserable. And Jim you better get the heck outta here before winter. Imagine if all this was snow! There was a big article on Accuweather about how they're predicting the worst winter in 10 years here.
Even more motivation to get our plow truck up and running.

They don't spray here.....it's every man for himself with the little flying vamps.

I knew you'd had some really hot temps up there this year so far. How's the humidity been Dave?

I heard that too Pete. Trust me as soon as the judge say I can go J-L and I are going to beat feet out of here.

They spray from time to time not like when I was a kid they fogged the area with planes then. I used a garlic based spray before that worked pretty well for keeping them away, http://www.mosquitobarrier.com/
They claimed that it works for a month but it didn;t seem that way to me I would spray 1=2 times per week if we were outside alot at night
Unfortunately enough Aug. is our busiest month at my work. We have 12 residential campers and 6 day campers plus our normal students and thats just the first week!
