I would rather mow more lawn. That means that the warmer weather is here. I am so sick and tired of the cold and snow. I want to see it in pics not in my back yard.

I guess I'm weird, but I love the four seasons, and prefer the colder weather than the warmer....my theory is...when it's hot outside you can be completely naked and still sweat your a$$ off, but in the winter you just put on more layers...simple!

Jim, we hardly ever get snow in Seattle and when we do it's just a few inches.
We are famous for our rain, however, but at least you don't have to shovel that stuff.
.
Today after work, I start in on a 4x wheel brake job for the truck.
98,000 miles on the original pads.
One of them is getting a little thin and all the rest of them are still 50% left to go.
New rotors, OEM pads, parking brake cables, service the slide pins.
I'm not going to rebuild the calipers, probably should but I don't see any torn boots.
.
Why am I talking mechanical stuff in the OT???. DOH!

I do like the color change in the fall. The cold seems to bother me more now then in my "younger" days. I have arthritis in both knees and shoulders and the cold of winter really torments me. Even the dampness with the weather today I can feel it.

With all the rain we have been getting here lately Dan I feel like I am in Seattle. This is one of the wettest summers ever.

Pete always talk truck in the OT. We don't mind.

Morning peoples!

Snow, yeah we get a little of that up here from time to time, once in awhile even in the summer!

ok, you must have double bumped your head, every year I have been here it has snowed and then iced over more then a couple of times a year. Almost didn't make it to work a few times because of ice.

OEM pads? And now that I'm right around the corner from you throw a dog a bone.

I'll repete it for you. re-pete. hahaha

I can only support those that support me, so I'll hire the kid down the street who buys his parts from me... Plus Haylee thinks he is very hot.

I can see that relationship going somewhere...

hahahahaha oh burn

speaking of supporting people, any members you know of that sell shirts and do monikers. I need to purchase Polo shirts for the company.

Morning all. Haven't ahd time to read up and catch up, but I hope everyone's doing OK.

Happy Friday to all as well. I'm off to figure out which set of ball joints to do first (F250 or Excursion), and then probably do some fender flares, backup lighting, R&R fuel bowl to re-attach the handle I left off two nights ago when doing the o-rings, front leveling kit on teh truck, perhaps another oil change to finalize the recovery from my o-ring uh-oh on my truck a couple weeks ago, and then finish the exterior detail on the Excursion. Whew... tired already. I'm glad both my sons will be around helping today and tomorrow.

Y'all all have a great weekend!!
