Jay that sucks man, I am an animal lover, so I know how ya feel. I dont have to tell you that you will get another great cat, but the loss of a good one is still tough.
Well, I am signing on with bad news. I know a lot of people do not like cats but we just had to put our cat to sleep because of severe kidney failure. There were no signs of anything wrong until yesterday. This just sucks. He was only 2 years old but he was one of the family you know. He had more personality than most people I know.
Thanks for letting me rant. We are just devastated.
Sorry to hear about that Jay, I dont know what I would do if I lost one of my dogs..

Something to do with the name I think. They're not content with Christmas, Gotta have something to do with fighting or some weirdo Canuck BS, Boxing maybe. I dunno??? Speaking of sticks and ice, I never have liked mine on the ice.
Well Scott is just a couple of hours away from being a grandpa! So far everything looks good and as soon as I hear more I will update everyone again!
Permagrin coming right up for Scott!
Well good afternoon to everyone.
I finally got up, feeling a little rough. I think Im in Cris' headache club today, wow. Time to go pop some advil, blow leaves, and put my muffler delete pipe on!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Well they told us we were going to get 8-10'' of snow yesterday and we got nothing. Not even a trace. Spent yesterday shooting again, and now time to clean the guns....Nothing much going on around here. Nice lazy Saturday....
Yea, it is a nice lazy Saturday. I was gonna fab up a muffler delete pipe today and put it on but the piece of pipe I had was a wee bit to short. Disappointed to say the least but I cleaned up my "orange" boots and sure enough they were orange! Never have messed around in that area of the engine!
Anyone have the time to play with their Photobucket account today? I found a bunch of neat photos I took at The Coca-Cola 600 a few years ago and they're all hard copies. So I scanned them and they came out at about 3 meg each. I want to post them here, but I have to put them on Photobucket first. I've tried one 3 times, it gets to the 100% and then give me an error message saying the resizing failed. Maybe their site is screwed up, so someone that has no life either, could try, please.
Scott should be a grandpa by now if my math is correct.
So, everyone remember a while back, a few OTs ago, I posted the problem with Randy's Jeep running like it was short a cylinder? Dan suggested we might have a spark issue.
I FINALLY talked Randy into buying some new plugs...I Even had to buy them for him he was so skeptical. Guess whose Jeep is running good as new? Ahem, yep. Guess who owes who a 30 minute back rub?
Dan deserves the gold star for today. Just one question though. #7 and #8 sparkies had oil on them. Is that normal or should we be looking for a more serious issue? I know older iron 8's were designed to burn oil, but this Jeep is a '93 and I'm not so sure.

Your ragdoll kitty? I'm sorry to hear that Jay. I know kidney issues can come out of nowhere with certain types of cats.

Congrats, Scott! Glad to hear that mother and baby are doing well.
On another note: I looked at the truck today. However when I got there the owner wasn't there. He said he would be there all day today (saturday) when I spoke with him Wednesday.
That was just as well though because it gave me a chance to check everything out without the owner peeking over my shoulder the whole time. He told me he just had all the seals done and there were no leaks so I'm inclined to believe him on that. He told me the truck had "A dent on the passenger side of the bed." Well as far as I'm concerned the bed is a total write-off. The whole passenger side of the bed is smashed in and the front is dented towards the cab like a load slid forward and hit the front of the bed.
Mechanically the truck seems very sound. I checked the universals and everything and there was no movement that shouldn't have been there. I was able to rotate the front driveshaft by hand when 4x4 wasn't engaged. I also opened up the airbox and checked for any particulate and it was very clean. The truck is very stock right now except for the aftermarket dents.
So here's what I know: Early 99 F350 4x4 w/7.3L PowerStroke and 135k miles. Missing the spare tire, bed is a total write-off because of degree of damage, some shallow scratches by drivers door handle, rip in edge of drivers seat, seems mechanically sound.
I called him to find out what was going on, but I haven't heard back from him yet. I'm planning on offering him 7,000. His asking is 8700 which is in no way what the truck is actually worth.
Anyone know where I can get a pickup bed for an early 99 F350? I tried 2 of the local shops that install service bodies and such, but I only found 1 ford body and the tailgate was bowed out.
Hey y'all. I have to write a paper for my college prep chemistry class. Jay sorry to hear about your cat. I only hate my cats, they can go to the neighbors. Congrats Scott!
