Well I just scared the poo out of myself. And no I don't need a lecture on what I'm about to say. I know exactly what I was doing wrong and why it was unsafe. I've run saws with 36" bars and have read several books written by fellers including Dent's book. So I know what I should've had for safety equipment.

Soo... Anyways I was cutting down a tree in our back woods. My bar got pinched so I gave the saw a little throttle and tried to pull it out. It caught my jeans and just barely scratched my left thigh.

Yes I had another guy there and yes I had all my other safety equipment just didn't have any chaps at home. Time to invest in a set of chaps for home....

Anways. I'm leaving here at 7:30 or so tomorrow to go look at and hopefully put down a deposit on a 99 7.3L!

 

I just love getting in the truck and turn up some metal,and here the kids yell turn it off dad it's to loud.

Thanks. I'm glad it was too. The average chainsaw accident takes 101 stitches to fix. That's usually from kickback when you're bucking though. The saw kicks back and you instinctively raise your left hand to protect your face so your face, hand, and arm get hit.

 

Just hang loose and go with the flow.don't drink to much if you feel bad or tomarrow will be a bear.

Glad you are ok Pete. Had a close call myself years ago. Almost lost three fingers. Luckily did not even need stitches...well, maybe I should have but band-aids worked great!

you may have misplaced....Here is how to make my favorite Christmas
Cookies.........


Ingredients:

1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila

Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo
again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink.

Turn on the electric mixer...Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy
bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar...Beat again.

At this point it's best to make sure the Cuervo is still OK, try another
cup ... just in case.

Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck
in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the frigging fruit off floor...

Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just
pry it loose with a drewscriver.

Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity.

Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Who giveshz a sheet.

Check the Jose Cuervo. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.

Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink.
Whatever you can find.

Greash the oven.

Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.

Don't forget to beat off the turner.

Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the Cose Juervo and
make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.
