I got that combo with porter cable. The pancake compressor, finish nailer, brad nailer, and stapler last year for Christmas. Never had a problem with them and believe it or not I use those more than a framing nailer. Probably because I dont have a framing nailer, but still, I dont frame. I repair antiques part time for my mothers business and she pays well, even after 10 years of doing it! I just have grown up tools now that make it 10x easier!
Everybody I know that has porter cable nailers have good luck with them, they're a lot like a senco but think are better
i can't say anything bad about a hitachi except the price,I bought a framing nailer at a lowes on close out for $75 but never used it yet
I see milwaukee has guns now...dont know about those yet either...

thats a great way to go, combo kits. saves alot of money.
Yea, the combo kit saved a lot of money. The DeWalt tools, unfortunately, do not save money! Almost every tool I own except for my miter saw is DeWalt. I hate having like 4 different batteries and such for my tools so Im stuck with DeWalt!
you played with any of Makitas LXT lithium line? I have those now, wow is about all I can say. The impactor will remove the lugs on our trucks!
I would love lithium batteries but I just dont use them everyday and more importantly I dont get to write them off! The old batteries will do me fine til they go to crap on me. I definitely wish I wouldve bought the impact before my right angle drill. Stupid decision on my part. Oh well. Maybe one day Ill be able to get it!

next time maybe. It's not worth it unless you use it everyday imo, very pricey. But they will run and run and run on a single charge. But really, if it wasnt for everyday use, I wouldnt spend the money.
How does the Porter Cable gun hold up? I am a Hitachi fan through and through, so i havent used much else. They are pricey, but my guns survive falls from 3 stories now and then, so hard to beat.
So far so good for me but they do not see daily use either.

One of those darn life lessons. It rarely pays to cheap out on tools. Ask me how I know that!

I don't really care for dewalt tools
my kid gave me an 18v set bout same time I bought my PC 19.2 set
my 14.4 PC drill had more power than the dewault 18v and the saw was worthless and the batteries have long been dead and the 19.2 PC is still going strong
