Home reno stuff adds up fast, unless ya really pay attention to stuff.
Ive reno'd the three houses we have owned, and we had such a lesson on the first one, the second one we did super cheap, and the third one even cheaper! We shopped three different provinces while we were traveling, and came across some great deals!
bad weather is on the way and my dad told me to be home at 7:00 but I rolled into the drive way at 7:45 OOOOOOPS. My dad didn't mind one bit since I drove home slow because of the crappy roads. I'm sure me buying him a bag of fun size milkyways maybe swayed his decision a bit.
And 500k for heating, OUCH!!!!!!! It would be alot more cost friendly to buy a chainsaw, head to the bush and get a few truck and trailers full of wood
Thanks Chris I really appreciate that!

No problem Jim

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I guess the good news is that I've got LOTS of work. Beats the alternative. When comparing a 7.3 to a common rail Cummins, it's almost not fair, because the Cummins has much better control of actually when and how much fuel is injected. The HUEI system is what's holding the 7.3 back. With the 6.4 being a common rail system, I think in a few years, it will be commanding some serious respect if not dominating the aftermarket performance arena. It's already showing some serious promise, with being able to make well over 500 HP on just tuning...complete with the stock injectors, turbo, internals, intake, and only a DPF delete for hard part mods.
As for what HP a truck becomes unstreetable, there's unfortunately no magic number. It has a lot to do with the inector, charger, and tuning combination. There's 500 HP trucks out there that aren't very streetable, but at the same time there are 850+ HP trucks out there that are still have great street manners.
It may not make much sense, since the Cummins stuff is rated differently, but basically I have 100 HP injectors and a 64/71/13 turbo, which means a 64mm compressor wheel, 71mm turbine wheel, and 13 cm outlet on the exhaust housing.
Joe don't worry about it really. I'm not mad. I felt like a tard for bringing up the subject to begin with. I get too philosophical sometimes. Someone needs to slap me, hand me an alcoholic drink, and tell me to shut up.
Compounded by the fact that I was in a rotten mood yesterday. I apologize for making you feel bad...twice.
Randy and I exchanged some gifts yesterday, and one of the things he got me was an electric blanket..and I LOVE it. Talk about a retarded present right?
LMAO!!!! And I REALLY hope an electric blanket isn't a retarded present!! I got one for my daughter!!!

1. Over head display went out Fixed
2. Spit coolant when we tow even thou the dealr has fixed is 6 times
3. EGR valve is stuck open and I can't get the dam thing out to fix it.
4. On the mirror switch up and down doesnt work switch it with dads switch and it works.
5. Won't start in the cold weather 25 deg at the coldest 7.3 start just like normal with out plugging it in.
And I THINK thanks it for NOW

I had to go to Autozone and pick up Tinkerbell floor mats and a tinkerbell steering wheel cover.. From there I had to run to Salleys Beauty Supply and pick up a nail grinder.. After a close, close inspection of this.. I am not sure why I can not just give a Dremmal, but hey,, it isnt pink and fancy..
My only saving grace right now is I got a call to come pull a Mustang GT out of a retention pond.. Hopefully I get there before someone else does..
Nope. First time, I was, uhhmmmm, indisposed when the UPS guy came to the door, the second time, he couldn't find it on the truck!!!!!
I wanted to strangle him! As he jumped back in the seat and started the truck, I asked him what I should do. As he took off, he said call. I was PISSED. I went online and am having them hold it at the main location down at DFW airport. I'm going by there tomorrow morning. It BETTER be there. I have had SO many problems with UPS. FedEx, not a SINGLE issue...

Im thinking that alot of the a boot and oot type talk comes from the french canadians though.
Us saskatchewanians just speak farmer language haha.

Y'all are making me homesick. I lived over in the Cocoa Beach area for 7 years, then Tampa for a year before moving here. Of course, I grew up in SW Florida (Cape Coral). I've been to every corner of the state, and I think I like the SW Gulf coast the best. Followed closely by the Keys. I just couldn't live in the Keys -- only one way out when a storm comes. Can't wait to get back there though!!!!
A couple years ago we put in 50k yards of fill for some new greenhouses. This guy is VERY bright. He figured out that his new system will pay itself off in about 3 years of use. Although he has some moron on staff who claims to be an operator that can't run equipment to save his life so I know they are behind schedule and over budget right now.
As I say. Any idiot can drive equipment, however being an operator takes skill.

Quoted me the price we talked about then charged me more shipped! I said oh no...I dont think so!
Are there any objections or concerns to putting it down over linoleum or vinyl flooring? Would I need tar paper/rosen paper down if doing it that way? Hes got some squeaky subflooring and I was going to drive screws into the joists below before we did anything.
