I hate driving in ice. Snow is great, but ice....yuck. Thats what we have at the moment now that its all compacted. Slick doesnt even describe it. And yours sounds even worse...

The back ends on the PSD's really seem to come around easily on ice. I've got about 300lbs in the back of the bed, but it could probably use more. My poor girlfriend was cringing the whole way home, espeically everytime the truck went sideways. I'm hoping the state and township trucks get out and salt in the next hour cause I gotta be at work by 630. Pain in the a$$ athletics gotta be in the school every possible day of the year. At least we're closed new years day. Last year we were open thanksgiving and new years day!

Jim posted something about possibly moving it back to the 7.3 forum, but they'd have to limit it to 300-500 posts. At that rate, we'd have a new O/T every day or two.

Boss just called, all the activities are cancelled! 
I still get to go in though and pretty much oversee the whole lot of nothing thats gonna go on, then lock up and set the alarm at 1pm. Nothing like easy overtime

I wish this would move back to the 7.3 forum. I RARELY pop in to the Super Duty forum, and every few weeks look at the Classified section, but otherwise, I don't go poking around other places. For me it'd be nice to just check the 7.3 PSD forum

Good Morning all!!.. Getting ready to do some snow blowing.. looks like my local mall no longer has a bar.. so I am tailgateing it today to wrap up the Christmas shopping.. Coolers are great.. the summer, keep your beverage cold, winter, keeps it from freezing..

one of my first vehicles was a van with a sunroof...we had a lot of snow that year and there was a foot of snow on top of the van....well, a case of beer fit prefectly in the melted area formed by the sunroof (heatloss cause it wasnt insulated) so for almost 2 weeks I had beer up there and the empties went in the snow behind the case...
We got a warming spell in January and I went around a corner and all the snow came off the top...case, emties and all....I kept driving....scared to go back in case the cops showed up and saw me leaving the empties...

yea the slide pretty easy,with the combination of the big chunck of iron under the hood and posi-track it don't take much to get sideways

I will drive over 60% of a road sideways.. I love these trucks for that.. They are very easy to control. They just walk any way, any how you want them to..THe kids just sit back a giggle.. I am running around with a smile. and the wife is finally easing up on the "oh ****" handle..
