Iowa is okay. Its been really cold here, other than that, I have no complaints. The snow isn't bad at all, but it starts to collect after a while because it never melts.

Mark, it'll get easier. I used to barely be able to run, id wear out after just a minute or two...and I slowly worked my way up to running three miles or so without too much effort.
The more you go, the easier it'll get. Like Sheldon said sometimes it helps to zone out too, and not concentrate on what it is you're doing.
Give it another 6 months and that 40 minute mile will turn into a 15 minute mile.
Good morning all. Scott & I have been talking and I would like to move the OT thread back to our forum. The only thing is that we will have to cut it off and start a new one around the 300 -500 mark. Any thoughts? I have to run off for now I'll check back later.
Lisa: I'm glad that your move went smooth. Are you enjoying the snow?
JD: Savannah is so damn cute!
Cris: I hope that you are feeling better I just read up on what is going on.
G'morning Jim......thanks for rallying for the troops in here! I can't WAIT to hear the crybabies whine about us being back where we DESERVE to be! We'll really have to watch it to keep it below the 3-500 mark!
When I zone out with my tunes on, Ive had my physiotherapist stand there and almost have to yell at me before i hear her! I swear it works so well though, I dont know if I feel any pain or tired out at all, cause im so busy zoning out!
Here is one reason I LOVE living on a farm/acreage!
The stupid camera (some 600 dollar sony) kept on focusing in on closer stuff then the deer, and I didnt wanna go outside to scare them (which i did anyways later), so the pictures kinda suck haha.
Sandi actually started building the doghouse, and I came along and finished it. She is a little impatient and im more of a perfectionist so it was in interesting combo!
Doghouse is insulated, with a carpet door (that Lily loves to chew on haha) shingled, no siding yet, two light sockets on the inside, with all outdoor 14/2 wiring, currently two 60 watt bulbs. It is a little to big for her right now, but she will grow into it more, and that is also the reason for the two bulbs over the one, then its just a little warmer in there for her due to the extra room. Then we got her a heated water dish. Next project for the ol dog is to build a table type deal with a roof so her food and water doesnt get extra snow and stuff in it!

Edit. Dang. We were hoping to leave town at about noon today, to head off to Nebraska. Apparently Randy now has to respond to two separate derailments, one in Illinois. At this point we'll be lucky to leave by tomorrow morning.

Hmm..impatient and perfectionist..sounds like me and Randy! I like things to look nice, but d@mn I'd like it done sometime this century..lol
Your dog stays out there all the time, or just during the day? Mine is spoiled, she'd freeze to death if I left her outside for any extended amount of time.
What kind of deer are those? They are either muleys, or blacktails. I've never seen a Blacktail but I hear they are a bit smaller and shorter which might explain why they look so odd to me.

Good luck Cris. Starbucks can be your treat after you're done right?
