I have noticed the french canadians are far worse. Just my observation.
My buddy I told you about is from Alberta so I'm sure I'd have no problem with your lingo....
Nick: So you mean you have your license? If you do that is definitely not fair. I've got to wait til March to get mine.
Well today we had to drag the GMC to a little shop we use. We had one of our guys look at it this morning and we changed the fuel filter and no difference. Starts, runs for under 30 seconds and died.
I had to road the Ford 2120 tractor to my grandparents house to clear their driveway. I stacked snow probably a good 10 feet at the end of their driveway and their driveway is maybe 50 feet long if that.
Hey Cris...2:30 am is way past my bedtime...and I am drinking decaf to see if my bp will come down a little...

I am a little pissed off tonite...I checked to see if my hyperbaric treatments are 'in network' and they are...but only 1 of the 3 doctors is in network...and not the one I normally see...I got a bill for $2800...my 40% of his billing....this guy comes in...says looks good...see ya next week then bills $500...what a f'n rip-off... he's gonna wait a long, long time for payment...I aint got it...it should be mandatory for Drs and treatment centers to notify you they are not in network...I should have the right to refuse treatment by an out of network doctor....Liz, the nurse in charge, isnt gonna like me tomorrow....

Been there, done that. I had a MRI a few years ago and I got bills from doctors that I never saw or heard about. i think they just happened to be walking by while i was in the tube and said..He!! let me send him a bill too.

Lisa: I'm glad that your move went smooth. Are you enjoying the snow?
JD: Savannah is so damn cute!

Well, i had another one of those days. Hauled a few loads of logs on a trailer behind my PSD. Finally got to officially test out my EBPV brake on some 8% grades. It's a mod I dont think I will ever regret.
I had a guy in a Dodge try to mess with me while hauling. I pulled over to let him pass and he passed blowing the horn and trying to roll smoke.
Then I wound up breaking the glass in one of my '08 tow mirrors. Just got one ordered up from Ed/FTE parts guy and he hooked me up with the info on the removal. Anybody need any mirrors broke? Send them my way, I'm good for another 7!
Well it seems like theyve been popping up a lot. Granted, I havent seen many retail locations but the ones at sporting events are everywhere it seems! At 5 bucks for like 2ozs its unreal. No telling how cheap that stuff really is from the distributor! Prolly 15 bucks for 5 pounds haha
Buffalo Wild Wings is a good one too....4 of them popped up around Richmond area in last 2 years...too much hassle with ABC license IMO
They are one of our customers (at least down here), and the great thing about them is you CAN have a franchise without the hard liquor license, you can do it with just a beer license.
Another good one is Beef O'Bradys.
the best of all franchises to own, is Chic-Fil-a
and to tell you the truth the Dippin dots is one of the most expensive (as far as product cost). Simply for the fact that their dots have to be transported in dry ice containers from the distributor.
Really? the last time I saw one was on a cart in a mall somewhere, a long time ago. I guess where you are there is a market for it. Now Im not going to go into what stuff actually costs from the distributor, but at sporting events they have to pay a fee to be there so they have to make that up by upping the price.
Theres one of those down here, its not a bad place I like it.
You dont have to go into the pricing. I know exactly how it is. I was in the car audio biz and it was ridiculous how much markup there is on stuff. But when you have lots of overhead youve gotta pay for it somehow! I was a sponsor for one of the hockey teams we had down here a few years ago, it was unreal what the sponsors had to pay, I can imagine the fees they impose on vendors. Look at beer...7 bucks for a 22oz!
I love Buffalo Wild Wings. I actually looked into their franchise but they wanted you to buy a territory and start a minimum of 2 up. One...ok, two, no way I was willing to pump that amount of money into something at the same dam time!
One of my buddies just bought his 1st house and got the keys tonight! Just got back from looking at it. Ive gotta "rent" my paint sprayer, air compressor, nailers, mitersaw, and my half@$$ knowledge to him this weekend. Im worried that the inspector didnt look at the roof too well. The drywall joints on the ceiling look like theyve had damage. Especially the ones next to where the latex paint bubbled...Guess ya get what ya paid for! Guess thats the maintenance man in me kickin in!
I got a question for Brent or any other contractors in here...
I dont know if you mess with this, but would you do hardwood or laminate in the kitchen/dining room? I told him to go with laminate because we could do the install and save some money. Laminate initial cost is less than hardwood too isnt it?

I have to agree with you on Chic-Fil-a. They make customer service there top priority. If you say thank you to them they have to respond "my pleasure". They actually get it, if you make the customer happy they will come back, instead of just trying to cut costs to make a profit.
Brandon I wish you guys serviced this area, I need more options on certain products. There is only a few food service companies that will actually call us back..
