How rigid is the floor built in your motorhome? Does it move too much for ceramic tile? I would assume so, but thought i would ask...
It is plenty rigid for tile, I just did not want tile. This was a very top of the line motor home when I bought it. A quarter of a mil in 1986, the same kind of motor home today would be three quarter of a mil.

Not sure how familiar you are with tile, but you can get some pretty fancy crap, and im pretty sure it isnt even ceramic anymore. There was some stuff i was checking out in a flooring store a couple of years ago, and it was insanely priced, 15 some odd dollars A SQUARE FOOT!!!
What other options would you like for flooring? Hardwood perhaps?

ceramic looks pretty crappy compared to the better stuff
this summer I am doing counter tops with granite tile with oak edging, not sure yet about the floor

I want to redo the Laminate, but not until I do all of the pex work under the sink, that we were talking about a couple of weeks ago. That's why I want fittings instead of crimp connections. I do not trust the crimps anymore. There just is not enough room in there to properly do hardwood flooring.
Howdy yall!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well im off in a few to go do Christmas shopping! LOL ya i know im a little late! Anyways make sure Yall POP into my Official Merry Christmas thread over in 7.3 even the newbies are getting in on it!
You do not want to use Laminate anywhere where there is any chance of a water leak. Kitchens are iffy, all it takes is for a dishwasher line to blow off and your entire floor is instant junk. I learned this the hard way. I put the best Laminate money could buy in about 1/3 of my motor home, within a month a water line blew off under the sink. I fixed it and within 6 months it happened again. This time I've not fixed it yet. I will as soon (if) I start feeling better.
It's not crap, buy Laminate with the pre installed backing, the thicker the better and quit being such a penny pincher.
I agree with most of the above. The bottom line is IF YOU BUY CHEAP YOU'RE GONNA BUY OFTEN. Simple as that.
Well the good thing is this house doesnt have a dishwasher or a water line for the freezer! Only thing it has is the sink and I have mentioned to him about braided SS(we learned the hard way in prop maintenance).
Trust me, Im not a horrible penny pincher, I just like to watch my money closely! If its something I was gonna do for my home or more importantly my familys home I wouldnt spare anything. But this is for my buds "bachelor pad". I told him to just put new linoleum down in the kitchen area but he insisted on some wood for his starter home...not my house so I cant do too much!
I didnt know that the laminate even came with the stuff pre-installed on them until Brent said anything last night!
Can't wait to see how this 5 speed is every one says its the cats pajamas
Our bone stock 6.0s with the 5R110s would chirp the tires pretty hard. I was impressed with that, but the TUNED 6.0s are DAMNED impressive!! They lay down ~400HP/700Tq (at the wheels) with just tuning, intake, & exhaust. Too bad they won't stay together!! I suppose if you were to do one up with head studs & gaskets, delete the EGR, plus put on an aftermarket turbo & injectors, it would be a heck of a machine. The '03s are just going out of factory warranty, so I'm betting that there will be some SWEET toys for those soon. I'm seriously considering getting one to gut all the crap off & put some good parts on it. May do that after my daughter is driving. By that time, the '05s will be going out of warranty, and that's what I'd want. Something in a 4x4 with a King Ranch package...
same here deere.....so much to do and just not in mood today. Maybe I should just say fork it and let motel run itself for the day?
Just another day in paradise.
Those 6.0s are decent trucks when they're actually runnin.
I spent all morning driving the DRW 6.0 w/service body and it has plenty of power even though it's got a lot of weight on it. It's bone stock and it can put you back into your seat if you mash the go-fast pedal.
Granted I haven't driven a 7.3 on the street so I don't have anything to compare to really, but I don't think the 6.0s are all that terrible.
Good afternoon everyone! Here are a few pictures of me and the kids playing with the quads yesterday. They love them and are bugging me right now to head over to my parents house and ride in the desert. They did so good on them, I am the one who layed one over yesterday. lol. I was playing on my sisters quad and spinning brodies (donuts) and caught the tire on a good sized rock and over it went. I felt it going so I bailed off and laughed so hard my sister though I was crying.
Riley on her quad
Mady on her quad
Ry and I riding
Mad and I playing around on her quad
This was taken right after I dumped the quad, I was still laughing.
