Not bad. But we went with meatloaf instead. Didn't feel like spending all the extra time in the kitchen it takes for Jambalaya. I made a nice salad and cut up the onions, peppers, and celery for the meat loaf, then threw it all together and tossed it in the oven. LOL... Went to Wally-World before all that, and it drained the energy right out of me.

But I checked fuel prices -- gas: $1.96, diesel, $2.94 (with 3c off gift card). There's another place I found that has it cheaper on my route to work that I'll check again. It seems to be a bit lower than most other places.

Right now, I just got done upgrading the software in some phones for testing tomorrow. I'm finally heading to the field this week, so I won't be on here too much until Thursday or so...

And now I'm off to the rack. See you all in the mornin' (I *WILL* be keeping tabs on you all. )

Beware Jacob!!!
Sorry to disappoint you tonight, the most dangerous thing I do lately is when I wash the truck I usually wind up sliding on the hood and get up on the ladder with wet feet. Not very dangerous or interesting....

He is right Jacob, you better watch out, most women (not Lisa) are just as bitchy and demanding as I am.

Second weekend in July is usually to hot down here, how about Spring or Fall?? Nice during the day and chilly at night, those are my favorite seasons.

Well, its been a long weekend. Cheer competition went well yesterday, Alli's cheerteam took the championship. Ansley's cheerteam took 3rd place(she was not happy). It was a hard week.
Last Sunday, during a marathon practice session, I fired Alli's coach. With one week left to go before their competition, the coach, who had not taught them a thing since august, started verbally abusing the team. I consider all 18 of these girls my children beacuse of the time we have spent together for the past 6 years. The coach told them that they sucked, were the worst group of girls that she had ever coached, and she was embarrased to take them to Competition. During a break in practice the girls all came up into the stands and were telling their parents what she said, crying, and completley stressed out. I proceeded to march out on the feild and tell the coach that she was not going to talk to our girls in this manner, and she told me, " well, thats my opinion of them." I told her she needed to get her stuff, and leave the feild and not comeback. I told her that I would take the girls to competition, and win it. Myself, the assistant coach, and another parent then went and told the girls that we were not embarrased by them in any way, and that we would be proud to take them to competiton. the three of us came up with an original routine, taught it to the girls this week, and then went and took the championship at Cheer Competiton on Saturday.
Y'all just dont know how proud I am of the these girls. They showed a level of commitment that I thought was only possible of college atheletes, not 10,and 11, year olds. BTW, we competed up one age group, in the 12/13 year old group, due to the fact that one of our girls was 12, and we didnt want to be disqualified for having someone too old in the 10/11 age group.

I am waiting for a parent to send me some pictures, (I was down on the feild with the girls and could not take any pics).

After we won the cheer competition, we had to travel 40 miles to the championship football games. The Millbrook Jr. Mustangs (us) were playing for championships in 3 out of 4 divisions. The Midgets(6/7 year olds) lost 18-12. The crickets(8-9 y.o.) Ansleys team, won 34-6, the termites(10-11yo) Alli's team won 38-12. It was a great weekend for city league football and cheerleading. I have NO voice left, and have no energy, but in the end it was all worth it.

Brandon, that's awesome! Congrats to you and the girls. I wish more parents had the ***** that you do to do something like that. Major props to you.

Not much going on with me today at all. Mostly laying around and feeling like ***. Last night ended up being a much bigger time than I had thought it would be. Once Tim got to town and we headed out, we caught up with some of my other friends only to find that another really good friend of mine was in town from California. I had no idea he was in town. It was good to see him. Both he and Tim are really good friends of mine that have moved away and I hadn't seen in a long time. Anyway, the drinks started flowing and the celebration of good friends was on. It's left me feeling pretty bad today. This 29 year old body can't handle the late nights and partying like it used to. I've felt like I was gonna puke pretty much all day. It just plain sucks. Now I remember why I don't go out anymore.

Dude, I hear ya. I dont get to go out much anymore but last time I did it was well deserved, so I drank myself silly in about an hour and a half. I was sick for almost 2 days.

I need to get my tolerance up a little higher before I meet up with Brendan!
