Well I'm stuffin down some lunch real quick before I head off to a baby shower. Hadn't eaten yet today and with my luck they'd have nothing but a peanut bowl and ginger ale.

Just went last minute for the baby gift and MAN...baby stuff is expensive! Reminds me why I haven't had any yet!

Well be good guys...no more hookers and twin turbo boats till I get back.

Yes, it was stolen......by a hooker that this guy brought home with him.

He went to take a shower, and while he was in there the ho stole his truck, all of his tools (he's a construction guy), and his cell phone.

It is a Dodge, half ton gasser for those of you that asked.

Still going to install the kill switch but the urgency is not quite as high as it was this morning.

Susan won't let me bring hookers home, so there's no risk of that happening to me.
you know, If he'd left the ho tied to the bed while he showered...or put her out like the cat...

I see nothing dangerous there, that's all in a days work Brent. When I got into steel building erection in the late 80's and early 90's that's where the real danger (money) is and where I took my worse falls. We would walk high steel hanging from the crane like that without any safety lines. Did an octagon church in Memphis and the damn crane operator was afraid to watch us. But I was making 4 or 5 times as much per year as I ever did as a framer. But on the other hand all the travel was the final nail in the coffin of my marriage.

All in a days work is right. It's gotta get done somehow.
Crane operators- Only trust one in my whole county, the rest can stay as far away from me as possible. I have been knocked off the wall more than once, even had to grab the boom once and be lowered. Idiots...
I dont go more than 30 minutes in any direction for work, so I get to keep momma happy...

Here we are now talking about stuff maybe 5 or 6 readers will know what we are talking about. I tried to use a Pettibone whenever I could and do the operating myself. But about 60' wide and 30' high is it for a Pettibone or Lull. I once rented a Cat boom forklift, and man that is the Mercedes of lifts. I once did a 80' wide using 2 Lull's, but it was more trouble and dangerous than it was worth. Could not get both operators on the same page at the same time. Hence the crane.

I don't think he changed his story. He told the neighborhood that the truck was stolen.

My cop buddy told me the real story. He's not married so there's nothing to hide there. I'm sure he doesn't want everyone on the block knowing.

In other news....Just finished putting my flares on. I haven't washed her yet but will try to later today or tomorrow morning.

Here's the first pic of her:

nice to have a crane for those beams...all the construction I did...manual labor moved them...

we installed steel beams inside a building...including one in a storm drain that took 12 men to carry

I enjoyed doing construction...til I herniated a disk...never been the same since

This NFL ticket sux, right along with being a Bills fan. I just turned to a Matlock rerun before I suffer a heart attack.
