I once drove a skytrack for a crew that fixed up my uncle's shed. It was 3 man crew. It was the owner/boss, the #2 guy and the new guy. I would drive the skytrak around the shed while those guys would be on a platform with no railings. I enjoyed helping them, learned some stuff too. They used a 2002 Ford F-350 7.3L PSD DRW 6spd 4:10 gearing to get to their jobs, until they upgraded to a 2008 F-450 with the 6.4L 5R-110 torq shift with 4:30 gearing.
My right knee is gone and my ankle is still slightly dislocated (idiot surgeon). I waited too long to get surgery done to fix it and it fused where it is now. The doctor told me I would advise against running EVER again. Im 24 years old...
I'm very sorry to hear that. what a bummer that must be.
Knock on wood, but I'm ship shape so far...sore shoulders from all the nail guns and hanging off houses. And rocks, I like rock climbing too.

Couldn't they "re-break" it to fix it?? I have heard of this working pretty well. Tewnty-four is WAY too young to have such troubles!!!
My right knee is also gone,, blew my ACL when I was 8 and never had it fixed, I'm 45 now. The cartilage is gone because of it. I can still do most anything I want, but I have to do it very slowly and take LOTS of Advil!!! Ha! Ha!! Ha!!!
Sounds AWESOME, Scott!! I grilled bacon-wrapped pork tenderloins (like fillet Mignon only made of pork) last night, made my famous home made salsa today, and I think we'll do Jambalaya tonight. The wife & I will both work on that. And now *I'M* getting hungry, and I just ate lunch......
There's no better food than in Texas and Louisiana, that's what I always say.

Nice, Skytracks are the bomb. Love the ability to go wherever I want and articulate the machine so it's level. So much fun. Cool that they had super dutys as well. All of my bosses in the past have had 7.3's, all of them. Naturally I bought one when I became my own boss. Just seemed right.

Thos skytraks are fun to drive too. I just couldn't believe they trusted me enough to let me jump right in it and start moving them around, I was scared ***** less at first but got used to working under that kind of pressure. I would love to work in the construction industry on a small crew. Oh theres another idea for a career.

I've operated a lull and fork lifts on many construction sites
I really wished to operate some of the bigger excavators and loaders...
My cousin had a backhoe and a dozer that we used in my dads yard to clear trees and landscape...
there was no yard when we moved in.
playing with fire is fun also...
I worked in a blacksmith shop for 3 years and made some interesting stuff
sure beats working at wallymart!
my brother in laws house burnt halfway down and the builders brought out a bulldozer that was gigantic. im 6'2" and the dozer tracks were as tall as my chest. anyhow one day they went to lunch and left it running. it was like october or november. so i thought i would try it out. my wife came outside of her parents house (they live next door) and saw me driving this huge a$$ dozer around the yard. she was like "put that back" lol! it was funny.....
