i saw one of those on a truck on here, kinda brought teh ghey imho.
To each his own. In my opinion, it is one of the best designs for a "functional" hood scoop. But, hey, what do you tell a "ghey" guy that would rather have the "lund" tape fakey scoops stuck on the hood of his "stocker" bronco.....
The Hillbilly homebrew cowl scoop looks good, I always wanted to try doing that, but lost ambition before the knife came out to start butchering.
so i assume this is you http://media.linkedin.com/mpr/mpr/sh...6e/247ed98.jpg
i don't know who the hell you are, so wtf is you problem with me? i never said i wanted scoops on my bronco, and yes it is stock. do trucks and suv's all start out lifted in idaho? because they don't here in illinois. and i'm 25, yes i am younger than you, but i'm damn sure not a 16 year old kid.
Most old Fords end up lifted in Idaho, kind of the nature of the beast I guess.....makes traversing old skid-roads much easier.....
I don't have a problem with you Mr. Lund catalog, I just find it offensive when people start ******* on someone else's creation that they are proud of, when said dogger has not performed any mods to his own rig and prolly even has Jiffy Lube change the oil for him. One of those guys that thinks his 351M is a 351C........Sorry, I couldn't help myself....
Maybe you have that kind of relationship with Cheeto, I don't know.
idk how good it's gonna look, but i personally don't dig them on the 70's trucks, especially that corvette like design. too sharp and hard of lines to blend into a curved 70's body style. but look on the bright side, you at least made some progress.

from another site we are both on.
i wasn't ******* him in a personal, mean way. and i just got that bronco a month or so ago, and i bought it because it was stock. i've always had lifted trucks, but never built my own, so i bought a stocker to build the way i want. i do my own wrenching, and even change my own oil like a big boy if you were poking fun at me because i mentioned j.c. whitney, i don't get it. i wouldn't buy replacement body panels from them, but most of their other products aren't too bad a quality, including their steel cowl hoods.
Ok so i put the hood on the truck and it looks alot better. Just cant get a real good pic of it. Also spent $350 today at napa to rebuild the 14bolt and do the disc swap.
So my oil pan and throttle linkage showed up today along with my package from Advanced Adapters. Monday im goin to pick up 5 brand new H2 wheels. Looks like i need some 37-40" tires for 17" rims.
