Yeah it will eventually. I want to get all the fab work done. Then ill tear it down and have all the frame and suspension components sand blasted and powdercoated. While they are gone ill rhino line the floors inside and out and do all the body work. Once its all together ill get it in the booth and lay on the paint.

Do you really want to get it powercoated? I mean thats alot of money to dump into how your frame looks. I mean, what harm would come from not powdercoating it.
Or even just using some normal chassis kind of paint..
Any idea how much it will cost to get it powdercoated?

Then again, you'll have the "cool" factor going for you. Lol.

I am against the powder coating. Just talked my buddy out of this. Powder coat is great, very durable and looks good but I dont believe it belongs on an off road truck. Reason is, if later down the road you want/need to do some welding on the frame or axle's you can't fix it yourself. You'd have to get the whole thing redone. Maybe you drill a whole and it starts chipping. Unless its a show truck where it may never need changes I wouldnt do it. Good ol rattle can gets my vote. I think ed paints his stuff with em and it always looks good to me.

Thry fix powder coat wth touch up paint trust me I used to work where they used powder and the items hung from a line on hook when hook was removed just used can of touch up when it was still hot and it baked to the metal and sealed, SO I guess now I said it was still hot u want to know how it works on a cold touch up job? Well it is just like normal paint then.

you could knock it apart and Hot-Dip Galvanize it

. . .after extensive sand blasting. . .

Not ungodly expensive and they have tanks big enough to do a truck frame

All my suspensions and frame work on all my trucks have been pickled and brushed with Gloss Black Industrial Enamel. Looks good, cheap to apply and cheap to touch up. . .and quite durable!
