Ha. Its not even as much about the money as its about wanting to have it done. Im honestly burnt out on it. I want something i can drive now and tow with. That way i can undertake a trail rig before wheeling is band nationwide. I found another older crew of a different make i want. Its already painted. The Cummins will be a bolt in deal with it. it does need a 4wd conversion but ive been doing some reaserch and itll be bolt in also.
what's the other truck???? unless it's in amazing shape i say f it. you already have time and money in this truck. you might get some of the money back out of it, but you never get the time back out.
I just want to drive the damn thing but it looks to be another 2 yrs before that will happen. Im also running out of cash quickly.

I hear ya on these 2. I'm getting burnt on my stuff too, but it's hit and miss... I have productive days in the shop and very NOT productive days in the shop - which suck.
It's funny that when I'm not in the shop I feel guilty, like I should be there working, and when I am there I'm lazy and don't get much done. It kinda sucks, but I just think of how cool the thing will be when I drive it and i push onward!

Nope - it talked about his orange weiner and him claiming it to be the world's biggest cheeto - that not even a starving Ethiopian would eat - hahahaha.
Ok - so I added that last part - but it's true!
Now quit yer bellyaching and get back to work ya redneck!
Okay guys, just so you know - I did NOT tell Cheeto that he had to remove his signature. I told him privately that he might want to consider it since he doesn't stay in the comfort of this Offroad Forum. The comments in his sig were vulgar and racist and are not acceptable on FTE but I let it slide in this forum.
Since he finds it necessary to basically slap me with his new sig, I'm contemplating changing the way we run this Offroad Forum and going back to the FTE guidelines only. I really don't want to do that because I generally find this forum fun and entertaining and would hate to lose all of you guys. We give you way more posting freedom in this forum than anywhere else on FTE and when we do ask for something, rather than just doing it, you get pissed because its not fair or you don't like that rule or whatever.
So Cheeto and he rest of you, its your call -
1. Do we stay as is but with ya all accepting what an Offroad Forum Mod tells you without whining and backlash?
or
2. Should we run this forum like the rest of the forums on FTE, strictly by the Guidelines?
People just have to abuse privileges all the time don't they? That's along the same lines of people not taking responsibility for themselves(and take up others slack) when they are out on the trails. Its sad really it is. Its no wonder trails are being shut down all over thecountry. U get told to do something, ****ing do it. Don't just leave ur "trash" layin around. Pisses me off.
No kidding Dave. We've go camping and hand out trash bags to people riding around. I don't have a problem telling people to pick up their own crap anymore because there's so few places left that we're allowed to go and I don't want to see them shut down too.
Well, even in little ND, with hardly anyplace to go, they are shuttin places down because people don't take responsibility for themselves, and others. Infact, I plan on pickin up garbage at the local ohv area this weekend when I'm camping, just because no one else seems to be picking stuff up, there are old beds dressers, and who knows what else down there that people dump, it makes me sick to see people do that crap when there ois a sign right at the entrance that tells people what the rules are. Hell last time I was there 3 different pairs of sheriffs/game n fish guys showed up at camp just to make sure we where all legal and pickin up after ourselves. The rules/laws are there for everyone to see, if u don't fallow them, don't get all butthurt and bent out of shape when you get caught/punished for it. Take it like a Man(or Lady)

nope, not true at all. i just don't see what the fascination is with the cummapart engines.
i have driven a large variety of trucks with a large variety of engines, and feel the cummins 5.9 is the absolute worst of the bunch, with the exception of the cummins 555 V8.
the junk 6.6 "brazilian ford" does a better job than the 5.9
the international DT444E(7.3 powerstroke), DT366, DT466, ford 7.8, and cat 3216 are way better engines, and will run circles around the 5.9 with less gears in the trans.
This points out my sig entirely. This place is foloowing suite with the rest of the world. No matter what happens its ok as long as noones feelings get hurt. Thats the whole reason this country is in the shape it is. We let things go on that we all know are not right just for the simple fact that we dont want people mad at us. I for one am not going to change the way i act between different websites just because the owners would rather have people misinformed than to have the truth posted and their feedings hurt. I act the way i do because that is the personality i have. Im not two faced to change it from place to place. So if you dont like this then change all the words to something retarded, close the thread and ban me because that seems to be what fte is all about.
