It seems that nothing here will work as I need tires with a 3,000 lb load capacity per tire, my trailer has 6,000 lb axles. From a quick glance I don`t see any 15''/3,000lb load rating.

What about Goodyear Marathons. I believe they're trailer tires...don't know if for commercial work or more of a bias to RV work. Check mid way down chart for 16 "....3000 lbs (I'm assuming, not kgs.) as I think tires are usually rated in lbs. capacity0but you might check.

This is awesome about Goodyear Marathons tires and their site, thanks Les.
As far as I know tires are rated in lbs. capacity, maybe Sheldon, our resident tire expert can confirm that.

Hope it helps. Your local Goodyear Tire outlet could provide more info than what is in the chart. Again the bias in these Marathons maybe more for the RV/boating trailer market, rather than commercial/industrial such as your purpose, but they could clarify.

You may need to flush the cache. Right click your drive in my computer, click on properties and tell it to clean up. Then do the same with IE.

I`ll check with my Goodyear tire dealer I always go to, he`ll be able to recommend what I need, it isn`t always a Goodyear tire as he likes to get me the biggest bang for the $.
Sorry to hear of your troubles Jack, hope you get it sorted out real soon. If you need help go here and send in a request on it: https://www.ford-trucks.com/support/open.php

Yeah Ive never seen a tire rated in anything but lbs.

Morris you did say your trailer had 15 inch tires right?
Now I am a little out of the swing of things when it comes to remembering some specifics (like specific lbs ratings for each size) but you may have to go to a heavy truck tire instead of a trailer tire.

If ya have 16's (your post 1351 kinda confised me) then its a breeze to get tires.

I have noticed for the tires I need for my equipment trailer (16 inch) that a guy has to look closely at load ratings. I was gonna go for some heavy truck tires, but the goodyear guy showed me some trailer tires that are smoothies, made for a trailer, have a higher load rating, and are cheaper.

Sold!! haha

Yes, my car trailer has 15 inch tires and my bad on post 1351, it`s fixed now........
My Bobcat trailer has 16'' and they are Goodyear smooth trailer tires with a fairly good load rating but I don`t know if they are in fact any cheaper.

Have you pondered throwing 16 inch rims on your trailer?

Im sure there must be 15 inch trailer tires that have that load rating though.

Your goodyear guy might have some less expensive trailer only type tires.

Just have to look for ply rating, but the problem with 15 inch is that they heat up alot faster then 16inch. Our new trailer has 16 inch our old trailier and our water have 17inch splitters.
