morris,
i got lucky when i drove my dads truck and didn't get pulled over or shut down!
he was more worried about me than the scale but they just waved us thru! so i kept on the road. and i drove home!

that don't work here! the scale would have more cops on you than you can shake a stick at! alot of states the scales are run by the sherrif or state police. and those boys you don't want to mess with! they will either take you to jail or impound your truck trailer and its contains! or both!

I like to test a little with law enforcement, but with the DOT's I havent ran into an *** yet, so I have treated them with the same respect they treated me with, its all worked well!

i don't either,
when i ran with my dad we only had 1 problem with a state trooper! the trailer flipped a recap on the hood of his cruiser and he pulled us over. that was funny! the guy was scared more then we were. we both seen it in the mirror. that was the only time we had problems on the road.

nope,
the state trooper seen it coming and he backed off but not enough. he wasn't happy about it at first, but after everybody settled he just laught about it. it didn't do any damage which is a good thing, the trooper wrote my dad a warning and he got the gator back and said get it fixed.
