oh yeah, your right there. If your thinking like that, make sure ya get one with a three point hitch! Thats the ultimate acreage tractor accessory right there!
3pt hitch, pto and wishfully thinking, a front end loader that about covers all the bases... of course a guy could always play with a hoe arm too, but thats unnecessary
Hoes are real neat...
I was on a job site with the 10 minutes of leveling left when they decided to finish up with their own hoe. They took out the over head power line in 10seconds.....The one I had worked under if for an hour.
Oh man that would suck haha. If your not used to it, you definately have to watch that arm. It swings all over the place, and you constantly have to be aware of the height of it, the height of the hoses on the top (when the hoe is secured in place).
All sorts of fun stuff! But i kinda got used to being aware of the swinging and stuff, from working on the rathole rig.
That kinda reminds me of how our land deal went down. They saved a few grand by not going through a realator, and ended up selling it for half of what it was worth haha.
Out on the farm there isnt enough snow to even think of firing up the case with the snowblower on the front. I was pumped to try it out too!
just finished getting the plow on my quad and took it for a trial run. works good, except with the bigger tires the plow rubs when locked in the full angled position and up. in action its fine. ok...bring on some snow...
the first time takes a little while because i take the pre-mount off come spring so i don't wreck it playing through the summer, so that has to go on, then the mount, then the plow. when the pre-mount and mount is already on (that takes about 15 minutes), it only takes 30 seconds to put the plow on and take it off. pretty simple. I only wish i had a big enough garage door that i could drive out of the garage with the quad/plow, and leave the truck there. i could do it with the other s'crew, but this one is 1 1/2 ft + longer and seemingly a little wider...
