I hope to have it painted next weekend. Then it's cleaning and painting the alt, p/s, starter and pulleys. My wife thinks I'm a little obsessed today. I Just got home from work, and am not really concerned with the Grey Cup. I'll watch the highlights later.
Days like today makes 5 more months seems like forever John.
For sure it`s a frosty Sunday, not too sure about the happy part tho Colin.
Very old here too John, a good day to be checking out Mark`s online catalogue.
Good Grey cup game!
I`m having a few problems with the headers I have to fit on my 53, let me know how they yours fit.
It's -24.4* C this morning, I'll be heading out to get a new exhaust system on the car thanks to all the salt.
If the roads were not filled with lousy drivers using vehicles poorly equipped for winter conditions. Salt would not be required. Since salt is required, I make a crap load of money. Just wash the vehicles more or let it rust.
-28/-40 here this am. By afternoon supposed to be reasonable again for the rest of the week. Early next week looks like single digit temps if we can believe it.
I see some deer have been bedding down in our bush, thats nice to see. I'll be making them some feed plots and leaving for them. The poor buggers have had a few nasty winters here lately and its taken its toll on the population.
Have a great day everyone.
The salt sucks eh John? I don't know that there are any alternatives for icy roads though...
I recently spent $6,500 on a young registered Black Angus bull. I put him out with the herd but he just ate grass and wouldn't even look at a cow. I was beginning to think I had paid more for that bull than he was worth. Anyhow, I had the Vet come and have a look at him. He said the bull was very healthy, but possibly just a little young, so he gave me some pills to feed him once per day. The bull started to service the cows within two days, all my cows! He even broke through the fence and bred with all of my neighbor's cows! He's like a machine! I don't know what was in the pills the Vet gave him... but they taste like peppermint
I hate winter!
I take it your vacation is now over Gerry.
I don`t think it`s just the salt that takes out an exhaust system, the exhaust rusted out on my 86 Mustang GT even tho it was parked in the winters it still rusted out.
Be sure to always stay on your own side of the fence Grant!
I truly do not mind these winters. Bundle up and enjoy these peaceful days. These bitterly cold days seem to keep vehicles cleaner than summer. My husky enjoys the temps and being outside with me. The Boxer is like most and only goes outside when required.
The 250 is driven daily so it never gets plugged in. As always started with the remote starter without an issue. 150 and wives Jeep requires plug in or no chance of starting.
