Happy Saturday mornin'all. Dam Gerry, that would look great in that new garage of your. Sherm: feed the weasel rum *****. After a week he'll become addicted and not give a crap about your chickens. We used to feed one every weekend at one of our snowmobile shacks at the lake. They're blood sucker's, but can be converted to rum in a short period. He'll probably die of liver problems, so you don't have to shoot him. It will probably also make him impotent, or whisky dick so he can't breed. Have a great day guy's Enjoy the good weather. John can you please measure your seat base you made? I'd like the frt and rear height. I'll give you a call later this afternoon.
Yes it would Grant, I would paint the fenders & running boards black...... too much orange for me, whats wrong with the wood in the box on the left side
Good day Ford folks!
Since most of your welding will be with heavier steel an arc will be fine Sherm, my bad as I was thinking more of light gauge bodywork. Your right, chickens and weasels don`t mix.
How was/is the Fargo hockey tourney in Fargo Grant?
Your cab looks great John, you`ll have a sweet pair of 56`s. Back at you Gerry, have a good weekend.
G: That looks like a reflection from the box side too me. Kalan's first game is this morning. I talked to Dawn last night and she's having a tough time getting around. She got lost going to a team function last night. She has GPS and a map, but is too proud to ask for direction's, or to follow another parent. And they say men are bad. I'm going to surprise her by shampooing the carpets, and cleaning the bathrooms. Hopefully tomorrow I can paint the rest of my engine. Morris, I just came from a freind's shop. He's building a 32 5 window coupe. He has a 5 gallon pail with a 9:1 mix of water and mollasses, and soaked his small rusty part's in (window regs/ door mech's etc) Boy does it work well. You have to treat it right after it's clean, or it will flash rust very quickly. That's it for now.
If that weasel gets near my rum, his life will get just as short as if he approaches my chickens
Gerry, thats the welder I have my eye on. On sale for $299 right now. I think thats a good deal, $100 off. I would like to have a welder for lighter/finer work some day, but thats when I have time to tinker. Right now it'll be more building rough/usefull stuff around the farm when the opportunity arises.
Went to the local auction today. Came home with a little Bolens 14hp tractor with a snowblower. Its in excellent shape and runs like a swiss watch given its 20+ years old. The guy who owned it was there, older chap, says it has about 10 hrs on it blowing snow, and was always parked inside I wouldn't doubt that a bit. I already put it to work and blew 6" of snow off a dugout so we can take the kids "old school" skating!! I'm just as excited as the kids
Grant...you sure thats a parts solution? The molasses in a pail sounds like a solution to a different problem if you ask me...
They won both games yesterday. Kalan got Player Of The Game for the 1st game. He got a t-shirt that says Fargo Stampede Tournament- Player of the Game. They play today at 2pm in the final. They're forecasting freezing rain for Dawn's drive home. I expect her home between 8 and 11pm tonight. Boy is the house clean. Might even get me some tonight. Have a good day.
Grant...chances are you will get the big inquisition about who you spent the weekend with, and why is the house so clean, are you covering up a GF or something??? But hey...I'm here hoping you get some
