I'm hoping that was sarcasm...lol... That was a cheap Wal-Mart hi-viz hoodie of course. I'm the guy on the mountain that looks like a complete goober cause I won't spend stupid cash on "sled gear", but I'm riding as high as the rest of them in my work parka, carharts, and sorel boots...
Good joke Grant. I'll be repeating that one tomorrow.
HEEELLLLOOOOOO...MR SNOW-MAKER... OVER HHEEEERREEEE!!!!!
I'm sitting here, sled tuned up, tractor ready to rock, watching these poor people get all that snow and they're not one bit grateful about it. Can you imagine how happy I would be right now to open my door and see a blanket of snow 4' deep for miles???
Anyway...I'll just deal with the cold and no snow I guess...
Have a great thursday fellas!!
Be careful what you wish for Sherm, once it starts snowing it may not stop....
Morning Fellas... There were some nasty pics from the Buffalo area eh Morris? I still say bring it on... I'm ready. Even put a Deer in the freezer last night.
Good luck and have fun Gerry!!
Have a great friday everyone, supposed to warm up a touch for the weekend. Snow for Saturday and Sunday!!!!

Of coarse that was sarcasm! Does not matter what you wear as long as your having fun.
Morning everyone. Another cold morning here, -23C and -30C with wind. Got a little bit more snow but not enough last night.
Oh and last night my girlfriend and I went for a little drive and had some dumb a$$ in a Chevy 2500 with a trailer pull out in front of us from in between some building. My girlfriend said she didn't even see his tail lights come on. Luckily for us I was able to hit the brakes in time and steer towards the shoulder of the road. Even so I am so glad I have good tires on the Explorer because I actually would have been able to stop before we hit the truck. One more reason to run a winter rated tire. Be safe out there guys.

I'm one of those guys that you see spending cash on "sled gear" lol. In my defense, I bought my jacket when I was 18 and didn't have any payments and my snowmobile pants are from when I was in high school. Only thing I have bought recently is gloves and a helmet. I need to update a few things for this season but I don't mind spending a little extra money on something that looks good and is warm

I would love to have that much snow lol. Only problem is I don't know if I could even get my snowmobile out of my garage in that haha.

Different strokes for different folks lol. I would like to try the Klim gear... Every year I tell myself that I'm going to buy some good sled gear and never do.
If we ended up with that much snow, getting out of the garage is one thing that wouldn't be a problem. My door is 14' high, shovel a little ramp and away I would go...
This pic is for all the guys with sleds....
Have fun in Daytona Gerry!
Glad you were able to miss that cheby Randy!
I`d pay to see you fly up a 14' high ramp out of your garage Sherm.
Way to go TJ. I started stripping the 5.0 for my truck and broke 4 bolts in the water pump. I got one out no problem. The other 3 I'll have to heat em up. That will be tomorrows job.

Happy Saturday fellas!!!
Most of my stuff is FXR, what isn't is going to be replaced but I do have a good pair of Sorel boots rated for -100 that I use. I Plan on getting a thinner set of boots for warmer days. I need to replace my Ski Pants, need a thicker set of gloves for the really cold days and a helmet that seals better. Only parts on me that get cold is my fingers and there are a few spots where cold air gets in my helmet. Its not bad when its -20 or warmer but when its -30 or -40 out and then wind on top of that, then my fingers and face get a little cold.
You are lucky you have a large shop, my garage isn't even big enough to fit my truck in it. My door is like 7' high....
