Since there`s only a few more days of this spring like weather I have to make the best of it.
There`s not a lot of parts to spare from this 56 Gerry!
I really like my 700 King Quad Sherm, I`m not ready to give it up.
My 700 King Quad (602 lbs. without gasoline, engine oil or other liquids) is almost 200 pounds lighter than my 850 Polaris (784 lbs.) and I can sure tell when riding or trying to rolling it around my shop!
About that woman in Wal-Mart with 2 black eyes...you should see her husband in a wheel chair!
How much were those seat covers tjcprop? I bought set of medium duty seat covers for my F150 ($180) but they seemed that they were such a hassle I haven`t put them on yet.
Did you mean poo laris or Polaris Randy?
It`s a 2009 with 1,700 miles, it seemed quite fussy about maintained with synthetic oil and frequent changes, the previous owner is a son of a friend. The only thing I didn`t care about is that he really likes mudding.
Sherm: My brother bought his birch in Swan River. Gerry: Too bad about the truck. I think the orange would grow on ya. Morris: that truck looks like it had a flip front end. I'm only looking for interior odds n ends. TJ; Nice lookin cover's. Have a great day guy's.
Probably the same place I'm planning to go, Grant. I talked to them not long ago, I think it was 120/cord cut and split. They had around 4000 cord on hand a couple months ago. I'm hoping they still have lots. I think all they had was birch which is great.
It does have a home made flip front end Grant. I`m not real sure if it`s workable or not, I`ll look it over closely once I get it home.
I certainly like your choice of Grabber Blue.
Another super nice day!
How did you like that 450 Suzuki King quad Sherm? I may keep my 700 King quad for now since it`s so much lighter and seems to be way more nimble than this much heavier 850. I didn't really get to try it out much since on Sunday the drive belt broke, I bought a couple of new ones yesterday and if I get time I`ll change it today. I see there was another accident in Yorkton besides the train truck one: One dead in two-vehicle Yorkton, Sask. crash | Globalnews.ca
Any more on that 56 Gerry? Looks like a very nice driver. I`m looking at buying this 56 F100, it`s a decent parts truck that may turn into a future project.
I`m glad you are salting away in Winterpeg tjcprop but there`s plenty of it here too.
I've seen pictures of that truck before somewhere Morris, is it a member on here? Maybe KIJIJI

Made a rack for spraying small parts, I was planning on spraying primer today but had to figure a way to hang some parts. There is freezing rain in the forecast for tomorrow so will likely wait until Friday to prime the cab, doors and small parts, fill all the seams. Then Saturday lay on the high build primer.
Morning Fellas. Another spring day on the way. Got my roof sheeted and one side wrapped yesterday. Hoping to get the entire thing shingled today. My helper will be with me and another guy coming to help. I'll be happy to see the last shingle go on.
Grant, I'll have to see if Inter-Mountain logging is the place I'm going. All I have is two phone numbers. These people go to the cut-overs after the softwood has been taken and clean up the remaining birch.
Does anyone have some experience with small welders? I'm wanting to get a welder for the farm. I've done a little welding before, but not to the extent where I know a ton about it. A lot of people telling me to go with an ARC/stick welder, saying that metals don't have to be as clean as using Mig. I like that it doesn't require gas... Canadian Tire puts a Lincoln Stick welder on sale for $299 quite often, Peavey Mart has a Hobart Stick for $339 regular price, haven't seen it on sale...
