No topic thread,,, Part 2
We had about 4" in total. The short drive home last evening was ugly, near 0 visibility for much of it.
Randy, I guess you're ok... Taking pics of the bare floor with no interesting object would be a lot worse...

I've itched to take the Cobra down the track but haven't for a few reasons. Its somewhat rare and collectable, its really, really mint, its a convertible, its a standard, and tires are expensive. I'd really like to find a nice Fox body to build a motor for. Have my eye on one right now in Winterpeg, trying to decide whether or not to drop the coin on it. 9g for a 1988 car just doesn't feel right. Momma Bear likes it, already has given her blessing on it (not that I'm the guy who seeks permission before every purchase, but its good to know she shares a passion with me outside the bedroom).
Stay safe out there boys, happy shoveling.

haha like that would ever happen
... I understand about the Cobra, I use to do burnouts and drift my truck a lot, then I bought some nice tires. At $440 a piece I think I'll keep them in good shape lol. 9g for a foxbody?!?! Have the ad for it?
Its a beaut in the pics. I'm just about to flip a coin about hooking up my trailer and going to see it. If its as nice as the pics show, it would be a winner, price is the price...lol...
Woke up to a pile of the white stuff this morning!!!
My daughter is suuuuuuper lucky today. It's their class ski trip today. Should be an awesome day for them. She's running around bouncing off the walls........See if I can get a shovel in her hand on the way out to the bus lol.
Tks for the good luck with the hernia thing guys. Dr gave me crap, 10lb weight limit and put on the "urgent" list. Should be a loooooong slow motion shoveling day today.
Sherm, those era of stangs are my FAV!!! I have to buddies I went to school with that still have their GT Cobra's to this day. Garaged and still take them out once and awhile. They're black with the red stripe, one has the turbine rims the other the 89 rims (4-5spoke). Pretty much everyone and their dog had a 5.0 back in the day around here. I was cruisin in my 71 Camaro during that phase and wanted a 5.0 in the absolute worst way. I wish ya luck finding one!! Saw an add in Carman with a partially built/started sleeper for 6-8G......

Yup, I still miss my 88 Cobra yrs later, I should have never sold it.

Speaking of rare cars, I know most of you will laugh at this but when I was 16 I almost bought a 1991 Dodge Shadow Turbo Convertible. Now that may sound like a cheesey car but it was a 5 speed manual and I found out that there was only 562 of them made with the manual. It also weighted almost nothing and had 150hp, but it ended up needing a whole bunch of work so I passed on it.

. Be careful shoveling Curtis, don't need you hospitalized because you decided to try and be super man with a hernia lol. Some days I fell like selling my 86 GT and looking for another 88-93 like the 88 Cobra I had. This red 88 you found is sweet Sherm. looks like a lot of the work has already been done so I think that`s worth a few extra $`s.
Good morning Gerry, Randy and Grant.

Hopefully it`s a nice day for your daughter's trip today, is the snow storm over?

??
Couple years ago he was working on his grass with his old Deere 345. Going up the hill he flipped it over himself. Thank god he was ok, but I tell ya, that guy pushes things to the limit!! Can't tell ya how many times he's called to get him unstuck in the yard
So if I'm out working chances are very good that the wife and I come home to a blown driveway. He's like a brother from anotha *****!!

School bus came so i'm assuming their ski trip is still a go!! This is one trip I would have def volenteered for!!
That's a beautiful stang Morris. Hopefully Sherm finds a mint one to build!! I'd love to have some extra cash to pick up one as a weekend grocery getter. If memory serves me correct with the buddies cars in the past, they weren't that bad on fuel either being the best power to weight ratio factory car of its day!!!
The edge is AWD, and is Dawn's DD. I drive a Pontiac Montana POS.
