Some sports parents don't exhibit the maturity their kids have. I've seen and heard about it lots. Terrible examples they're setting.
Apparently his child was really worried his mom and dad were going to go to jail, and he would be by himself. The coach he punched was twice his size and did defend himself. He also refused to press charges.
Well it got down to 0* F here last night. Didn't notice cuz I had a fire going.
Now it's snowing and I am off to town. If ya all don't hear from me tomorrow than
the Bronk didn't make the trip and I am prolly Bear poop.

Thats really sad when the 8 year old kid has more class and common sense than his parents. I remember a story about an aboriginal father getting all riled up and challenging the entire Caucasian audience, going on about 100 years of torture or some BS. If I remember correctly, one of his band members took him out. The entire team was embarrassed.
I've never gotten into sports, won't impress my kids to if they don't wish to, but will be super happy if they take up hunting, fishing and outdoor activities with me.
Happy Monday mornin'all. Hope everyone had a good weekend. We got home yesterday evening. We did very well at the hockey tourney, coming in 5th out of 18 teams. We lost only one game out of 5. When we got to the arena for our last game the Police were there. Apparently a parent went into the opposing dressing room and started punching the coach. Geez, these kid's are only 8 yrs old. I really feeel sorry for the children that witnessed this. Other than that we didn't shop much. I got a few goodies fron Harbor Freight, and some shoes for the kid's. Took the day off to just loaf around. Have a great day guy's.
Crappy about the scrap!!
Glad to hear you are able to get some time to surf around and enjoy part of the trip Grant!!

There is just no reason for that kind of behavior.
Good late evening everyone. I agree that its sad some parents are more childish than their children. Selling things on kijiji is hard when you live in Gillam. Too bad about all the fatality happening lately.
So I'm a little ticked off at my supervisor and our head training supervisor. My grandfather just passed away and due to some of my step cousins (grandfather was married into our family in 1990, I was born in 1991 so he is my grandpa) getting married in BC the funeral is being held on the 18th. Now I'm supposed to be starting my last level of our electrical training, its our competency based training (cbt), on the 18th. What it is about is all the electrical equipment that we deal with at Manitoba Hydro. The problem is that it pertains to the guys that work down south, for the guys that work in Gillam we never see this equipment and they expect us to read a manual and fix the equipment that we have never seen before. Ok, no biggy. I've pass three levels of this, now on my last one, not a big deal. But now because the funeral starts on the same day I'm supposed to start my training, I get the week off (because Monday is a holiday), I'm expected to finish this training in three weeks instead of the four that we originally have. Do you guys think thats fare? I kind of think I'm being punished for going to my grandpa's funeral, who I never got to say goodbye to! Sorry for the rant I just needed to get this off my back.
