No I am pretty sure the truck is highboy 4x4 S/C origanaly. Not to sure of the history on this truck for i have only owned it for about a year. Bought the truck as you see it for $900 without the 37" tires. It is some what of a mystery truck to me for i can not find a Vin on it anywhere just the body serial# . I have had to do a lot of research to find out what exactly it is. I bought it off a guy who bought it brand new and used it for fishing for the last 10years. It only has 164,000 km on it and body was redone about 7 or 8 yeas ago so he says. it's a 1975 ?? f250custom with D60 rear and low pinion closed knuckle Dana 60 up front No not 44HD for it has huge hubs and 9/16" diff cover bolts and large kingpins. either a 360 or 390 Ci FE running on dual fuel propane and gas, Not to sure guy told me it's a 390 but isn't that what all 360s magicly turn in to when sold.
I plan on fixing rust problems down by the kick panels witch you can see through and watch the road go under you but other than that seems to be good solid truck...

That's a weird bunch of specs! Ford didn't make a supercab 4x4 until '78. They started supercab 2wds in 74.... So the 75 body isn't confusing at all. sounds like you've got a frankentruck! The vin should be on the top side of the frame on the passengers somewhere up front. the guys on here can help you decode the vins... If the vin off the body starts with x25 that denotes a f250 supercab 2wd, x26 is a supercab 4x4. Cool truck nevertheless!
could have been a short bed crew cab that was replaced w/ the supercab sheet metal, isn't there only like 2" difference? like 133" vs 131"...or something close to that?
I went crawfishing with my cousin and took some pics of his truck with my phone. They are not high quality. The truck should be painted & have the trim back on it in August.
Here's how it looks now after a few cans of spray paint:
