These did, and each had a 76/77 grill so I would guess.

Man that is a shame letting those 2 trucks sit and rot away. Someone needs to buy them and bring them back from the dead.

I had a guy up in Iowa that was coming down to get the blue one but his plans changed. Last I saw them they are still there, loosing parts a little at a time.

parts interchange for cc

I have a 78 cc 4x4. When I got it the interior was most incomplete. Will someone here please help me and tell me if
1) Does the headliner from a standard cab fit the front half of a cc, and is the chrome trim that supports the rear half of the headliner different than that of a regular cab (can I source junkyard parts and make it work if no cc are available?)
2) are the covers for the retractable shoulder belts cc only. I found out the hard way that standard cab does not work.
3) are the rear door panels unobtainium?
4) is the only way to get weather stripping and felt insert for the rear doors to cutdown/modify the kit for standard cab?

If any one is willing to do some swapping I may have something you need?
Thanks all Todd

1) No the headliner is a little short, it physically fits but there are exposed tabs that do not extend into the trim.
2) Yes
3) Yes, but custom ones that are flat look nice.
4) Not sure but I believe so. The rear glass and front glass are the same so they may just fit in without modification. The rail that presses into the bottom of the glass is a little different but I cut the front ones to fit the regulator without issue. BTW the rear pull handles are off of a 72 or so car. 71-73 LH STANDARD INTERIOR CHROME INSIDE DOOR HANDLE

1) The head liner is a little short but making one or getting one made should be no problem. The rear chrome piece on reg cabs is the same thats on the crewcabs. And if you can find a couple of them you can use one for the middle also with just a little modification. Good luck finding them in the JY.

I happen to have a few sets of reg cab headliner pieces that are chrome? IM me about it, and those door panels in the pics I posted a bit ago were still there last time I looked.

They are spoken for by another FTE member as soon as I can get up there and get them for him, if he really has got out of the CC business I am sure he would give them up.

How do you go about using it for the middle instead of the plastic?

The Blue Crew pictured ??

Is the blue truck pictured above still around?? I'm no where near that side of the country (Seattle Wa) but I am very interested in getting the two cowl mounted spotlights off of it. Anybody close out there who could help pull the parts?? thoughts?

Joe

I have the center (plastic) piece that halves the 2 parts of the headliner. I just need the stainless steel trim that supports the headliners perimeter!
