hahaha - naw. I was just joking. But then again in the eyes of many of the diehards here I am "soft".
I've never owned a chebby, but I am open to it. I actually want a 65 nova wagon. I know many here will flame me, but I am open to ANY make or model that catches me eye. It just turns out 90% of the time they're old Ford trucks
I know what you mean, I have 3 tahoes, 1 the wife drives..a great creature comfort safe rig for the family, out performed fords expedition and the other 2 are being assembled into 1 to replaced her high milage 96 w/ a lower milage 97, and then the OLD GM..a 69 GTO conv,,,BUT the FORD scale is overweighted by the 9+ dentsides, the 88 f350 4x4 mason dump and the 05 escape hybrid 4x4, so the GM vehicles behave themselves!

i would defect for the right suburban....i really like how they look...if only ford made the excursion in the 70s and 80s
78 Supercab Shorty...parts truck for the Supercab and a little for the Crew unless I find a Better Bed!! (Hint Hint Chasetruck...lol)
When do you want one? Mine on the supercab isn't great (both rear corners a big mushed) but it is rust free. Plus I'm pretty sure a buddy still has one. If you are serious I can ask
Serious...but on the same hand need to know and see how clean...did your buddy ever get pics??? I really want a shorty dual tank 77 to 79 bed with fuel doors...but if one was clean enough i could always put them in.....
Thank you for posting the pictures. Specs on the truck are an F-350 Ranger XLT. 460-C6, and the diff ratio is 3.31. Truck has additional spring capacity to carry a 12.5 foot camper. Transmission is shot. Other than one piece of missiong trim at the rear on the bottom of the box, truck is complete. I hope someone will find a way to take it home.
Innisfail is an hour north of Calgary, Alberta, north of Montana. As far as I know, there are no problems taking the truck across the border because of it's age.
Someone correct me if I am wrong...But take a look at these 2 eBay auctions....It sure appears to me...that standard door hinges for a regular cab 67-72...are the same hinges used on the rear doors of a 73-79 crew....may also have been covered before...just an observation...LOL
