bummer dude, i thought you already pulled the chip, def try what....lost his name, but def pull it and try but i think once yo get a scanner you'll find some very helpfull codes

The tekmate seems good for the price. Are you sure its ford enhanced?

Its going to be awhile until I get the codes. Looks like im going to have to buy some software online and wait for it to be shipped here. I cant find anyone who carries something ford enhanced around here.

it says 83- current eec 4 and obd II, your truck is supposedly covered then so it should pull codes

I decided to go with the obd-2.com software. I had it overnighted so hopefully ill get it friday. Now I just need to find a cheap laptop so I dont have to lug my entire desktop down to the shop.

Also, if anyone in the Boston area ever needs to scan their truck dont hesitate to send me a pm.

Today I got my kit from obd-2.com The software works very well. I was finally able to scan the truck and got one code. p0107 Any ideas?

Roenrgeep, check out www.obd-2.com You will need the pwm for ford software. Cost to my door was 150. That was with a usb adapter because my laptop doesnt have a serial port.

Thanks. I got that far with the code. Now I need to know what to check. I found the baro sensor under the dash. With the key on im getting a reading of 5volts with the pos on pin 2 and neg on a ground.

For the ford software. When you click on order, then your payment option a menu comes up where you can pick which software you want.
