ULSD is no good price goes up fuel mileage goes down Go figure!

Ok, I"ve pondered. Our medium duty truck chassis, which never gross over 30,000 lbs. seldom get better than 9 mpg.

Yup.
It is usually a third party twice removed who gets that kind of fuel economy!

Most big rigs I have been around average 4-6mpg at 80,000#

So what is YOUR opinion of acceptable fuel mileage empy @70mph and towing @70mph? I've already stated mine from what my truck gets. In my opinion these new diesels are WAY off!!
