all i gotta say is the prie of the dodge company the viper well thats aint nothing because eveyr one is calling the new gt40 the viper killer
Look I agree that the Hemi is not that impressive, but the Viper is one fine peice of machinary. I wouldn't mind having one. You cant really compare the gt40 to the viper anyway, the gt40 is more than twice its price.
Chevy and Dodge dont even compare. Ford sells more trucks than both of them combined. Dodge has to get its engines from another maker becasue they are too stupid to make it themselves. I had a dodge and hated every minute of it. New tranny, AC and electrical preblem all within the 36000 mile warranty. I will never buy another dodge again, so long as i can inhale.

You also cant compare Ferrari's to the GT40 cause Ferrari's are twice the price. oh wait.... the GT beats Ferraris Nevermind about not comparing them, Compare Away

I don't think so. Last I read in a very recent post, GM was within 9000 units of ford year to date. If you add in Dodge, the numbers would totally blow away ford. You should check the numbers yourself. I'm not making any statements about fords sales or popularity, just pointing out that your statement is not correct.

I agree to a point...the Viper is good, competitively the only issue is it pushes real bad on entry, it does have enough HP to drive it through...only problem you cannot finesse the car through a corner...it must be manhandled through any decreasing radius turn. It has too much wait on the front end.
Now the GT is not in the Vipers category, not just because of price but also because of the roll couple of the car itself. Better balancing and much more effective suspension geometry….it is in a Ferrari class, some of them not all.
Mind having one..not at all

Ford gets some of its engines from another maker also. A lil know company called Navistar International
Why, because it didn't give you the results you wanted? Sorry, he proved a good point.
Hmmm. Maybe because I wanted a variety of comparisons and not just one to bank on. I also think he proved a good point I just wanted more results. Do you have a problem with that?

From the Guidelines
This is baiting….. Unacceptable
Only if you add GMC and Chevrolet together. Chevy itself is down by almost 73,000 trucks to Ford in the most recent sales figures that I have seen. I bet if Mercury or Mazda made a fullsize truck, Ford would REALLY own the full size market even more than they do now.
I dont think so because if that were true Ford would have done it by now and all that would do is take sales away from Ford and give some to merc or mazda.
I disagree, Chevrolet and GMC aren't market competitors, and they don't tear away from each other's sales.
They do take eachothers sales but it all gos back to GM, so your right they arent market competitors. If GMC were eliminated Id say that 98% of the potential buyers would go to Chevy. Think of it this way, If somone were looking at trucks and had their heart set on Dodge or Chevy but not Ford, and then a week later Mazda came out with a truck that looks just like the F-150, do you think that that potential buyer is going to be interested in the
Mazda truck and not the Ford?
