Apparently anti-stall engaged here, which opens the throttle to 50% (when slowing down, the driver typically puts the car in neutral... I am guessing her lack of familiarity with an F1 car meant that she hadn't)

Fantastic race. I was so hoping to see Masa pass Vettle and get on the podium. Too much to ask I guess since Alonzo couldn't hold off Webber.
I'm still wondering why Alonzo changed tires, hard to hard after only fifteen laps.

I'm hoping to make it next year to the MotoGP races.
My FIL lives in Austin.
I don't think the locals care for it much until the developers complete all the road and infrastructure improvements they had promised.

Just finished watching qualifying & race. Another tire management problem. No dry laps pre-race then Alonso having to finish the last few laps with worthless tires agian. I just bought tires and they certainly weren't Pirelli.....

Anyone think that the circuit is much shorter now than it used to be , I remember them going down past a forest , and was one of the longest tracks of the year...... But not now it seems they have cut the track in half
