Masa has done well there in the past. I hope he does again this time. From Ferrari's standpoint, if they break his contract they may have to put one of their test drivers in his place. Because of the problems involved with hiring a top driver who is currently under contract. I wonder what it would cost Webber to jump ship? Or would Ferrari buy out his contract? Questions, questions!
I know that Webber has had his moments of brilliance but he does not turn in consistantly fine performaces.
Massa is/was a good driver. It's too bad he got shuffled into #2 driver slot. First behind Micheal then Alonso; has to be hard to build confidence. The blow from nowhere to the head has to effect his driving, subconsciously.
He's in a difficult place and I hope he rises above it but the pressure is coming from many sides....
Webbers inconsistency, I think, leaves him out. Kubica? I don't know... Adrian Sutil or Jarno Trulli?
They might pick from the ranks of GP2 but do they have another Vettel? I haven't been following GP2 lately.
Adrian Sutil is really the only one they can sign for a little more then half a year...IMO Weber is the one for next year...maybe even Hamy. What I have heard FM has a performance clause so to buy him out is not going to be much
I know I know CRAZY....but it could happen.....Hamy in a red car next to FA
I'm thinking Hamilton is a bit too sensitive to find himself being "second driver" even given the chance to drive for Ferrari. It would be pretting interesting for the fans to see how the "in team" competition worked out though. In fact, it might drive them both to greater performances.
