Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Retired LEO informal gathering at Riverside Cafe this morning. 10 of us there.
Got the car back yesterday afternoon. They had to take the front bumper cover off and correct a plug problem. Ended up no cost to us.
Morning all. Been busy. Over the weekend we got a new to us hot tub. Took two compact tractors to set but we got it done. Wife has been wanting one for years so now I can check that off the to do list. It's a 12 person but it was cheap enough and since it was a friend of a friend we knew it worked and would work. Now to see what it does to the power bill.
Monday was my last official day being employed. Spent the day at "work". Looked at a few things then talked projects and budget with my replacement. Called it a day at 3 and we all went out for beer. I'm now unemployed...errr... retired for real now. It's also wifes birthday week so Wednesday we spent the day at the coast and enjoyed the 70 degree temp. Mowed the grass yet again yesterday and worked on my tan. Had a nice fire in the fire pit then a nice soak in the hot tub. Easy livin' around here I guess. Grand daughter basketball game in albany tonight then dinner after. Brunch with other family and friends tomorrow. Hopefully after this week my social calendar will clear up and I can introvert again.
