Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 22° under overcast sky here.
Friday night / morning took a wild turn. Was out looking at Dark Sky stars, not a cloud in the sky. Sometime after midnight, the wind started in at gale force and the rain started pounding down. Yesterday turned out rather nice with scattered overcast but a bone chilling breeze.
Took off early for Bend yesterday for a Central Oregon SxS Club gathering at Mountain View Motor Sports. Corrigan and John (Brothers) went over their recent races in various places included Baha. They also went over the Rugged Radios and features of the various models. Cory went over the radio in my 'car' and all is well. It appears the only problems I was experiencing with my Dual Band was operator error caused by the radio being smarter than the operator.
Spent the rest of the day getting propane, diesel, groceries etc. Stopped at Ponderosa Pizza on the north end of La Pine (Wickiup Junction area) for dinner and brought half of it home.
A couple of their race "cars". They have a couple of race 'car' SxS for sale if you're feeling rich enough.

With the price of one of those racers, maintenance, upkeep, equipment....paying off the mortgage wouldn't help. My mortgage is paid off and I'd still go bankrupt.
Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Beautiful morning starting off under mostly overcast but trying to clear off to blue skies. Up to 59 now. Took off early this morning and went over to the Rifle Range in the State Forest not too far from here. All of a sudden it's getting late in the morning. Time fly's when you're having fun.
Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Hit 71, cool air blew in and dropped back to 65. Then we started back up. We're back at 71 now. Had three packages come in this morning. Post Office tracking said they had arrived and were delivered to the parcel lockers so I didn't worry about it. Just got back from the PO and only one package was in the Parcel Locker. One for the dogs. The other two are behind the counter and I had a yellow note (pickup notice) in the mail box. So, I have to wait until 10 in the morning to get the packages I really needed.
