Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Still on Whidbey Island. Granddaughters last night of the play is tomorrow night. Most likely will head home Saturday Morning or first thing Sunday Morning.
Went out looking for Orcas. Found a pod but they were way out off shore and not good for pictures. Found some grays off the south end of the Island.
Went to Coupeville and Penn Cove then out to Fort Casey.
Sister called with some sad news this evening. My aunt passed away this morning. My dad's younger sister and my last living aunt. Services are next Friday.
Coupeville-Pen Cove Harbor Masters and a Restaurant. Penn Cove New hunting rifle. 3-to-5000-yard shots across the Eastern Oregon Canyons should be no problem now. Ladder from ground level (to the left) to the battery level gang way and up to the Fire Directors Tower.. Daughter made it up to the tower without much problem...Acrophobia kicked in and coming down was interesting. The Warden refused to go up and kept both feet on the ground. Daughter made it up to the Fire Directors Tower. View from the Tower. Checked the cameras at Bravo Compound. Looks like there may be some snow plowing to do when we get back. Checked the cameras when we got back a bit ago and it looks like there has been a little more accumulation. Be able to get a better idea in the morning.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Sun popped out here on Whidbey Island and the temp is up to 35. It got down to 8 at Bravo Compound earlier this morning. suns out at it's up to 14 now. Looks like a little snow was added up there, but still very little compared to this time of year over the last 3 years.
