Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 37 here at Alpha, 26.2 on the pass and 14 at Bravo Compound.
We’re heading back to Bravo in a couple of hours. Pass is looking pretty good. We need to get a WiFi thermostat control for the central heating so we can turn the heat up as we pass through pleasant Hill or Dexter!
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. We've moved out of the basement at 16 to a whopping 17.6 now. Mostly clear sky with these conditions in the forecast for the next week.
Turned out a nice sunny Sunday so I washed the bronco and took it for a spin, about 20 miles in my AC clutch started yelling at me, hit Napa then back to the shop. 30 minute fix good as new. $110. This is why I am a fan of older vehicles, if it were my wife’s 24 bronco it would be down for a week or more waiting for parts. I love working on cars I don’t have to drive daily,
guess I am getting old when auto repairs are my entertainment. Haha
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Had an overnight high of 22 and are currently at the low of 16.6 under blue sky. Some of the snow in the driveway melted off yesterday.
@90's rig Howdy! How's Newberg these days?
I'm just the opposite, I guess. We came home one day with a new to us rig. Lifted the hood and saw that some idiot had put an engine in it sideways. That kind of did it for me. I've gone from true 'mechan-I-can' to 'tinkering'. You'd never know I was a Flight Engineer and changed out intricate parts on airplanes and aircraft engines. About as far as I get into it these days is changing batteries or taking the grill assembly out of a pickup just to change a headlight.
