Good morning 2026, Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 34.5°, overcast and wet. Had a snow flurry around 2330 last night and it all turned to rain around 0030-(ish). Rained most of the morning hours, moving to scattered showers about the time the dogs got up and drug me out of bed. For as much rain as seemed to be coming down, I'm surprised it didn't wash more snow away than what it did.

We picked up one of those Ninja Slushie machines & it provided the liquid refreshments for New Years Eve.
Pretty neat but dangerous if alcohol sneaks into the mix. We did make it to the ball drop!😇😂🤪 Homemade Kailua & Cream slushie followed up with eggnog & rum!

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 30.1 and overcast. Clear with a very bright moon at midnight. Could clearly see the dogs all the way across the yard and down towards the river. About 0300 we were both woken up by what sounded like a hurricane with rain slamming into the roof in waves. Even had the cats upset. Not sure what time it quit.
