Morning all. Bit windy last night with 20-30mph winds and gusts in the 40's. Blew so hard that it blew the shower curtain down in the shower. Think about that.
Otherwise weather is not bad. Not much moisture but it is cooler. Reining competition starts today so we'll be doing that for the most part for the next week. Both the daughter and son in law are competing.
Did make it to the memorial which was nicely done and moving. If you get a chance it's worth the stop.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 33 with heavy overcast here at Bravo.
Good drive back yesterday. Traffic in Salem wasn't too bad, I-5 thru Albany area was it's typical messed up conflagration and the Gateway traffic in Springfield was atrocious. Everything in between and beyond was great.
Cabela's had a great sale going on their blue jeans. $25 Red Head (Cabela's/Bass Pro brand) were on sale for 14.98 and club members got an additional discount to $9.98. They also had nice Flannel shirts on sale for the same price. Then I picked up an Li-Ion Fillet knife. I've stayed away from electric fillet knives, but this one looked pretty solid, had 3 blades, was 50% off and the Military discount was another $12 off making it a can't resist price. Got lucky on the knife in that they still had one. The 'outfitters' in the fishing dept. were saying their section had not done as well as they expected today. To be honest, I thought the Black Friday Sale on fishing gear was a bit disappointing. Looked like the normal spring sales to me. The Fillet knife was the exception. The guys said they were surprised that they were only sent two of those knives. One went out the door first thing right after the doors opened. The other one was still their until I bought it.
Great pictures Rich. It's a sobering site to see, that's for sure.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Made it home with 1 ton of pellets, a bale of straw and 2 tons of dog, cat and people groceries. Also a few Christmas presents thrown in for good measure.
Morning all. A bit chilly at 24f this morning. high of 35 expected under clear and sunny skys. No rain or snow at all for the next 10 days. Just sun. Not going to complain.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 30.2° with some blue sky, but it looks like some heavy overcast is moving in. Wx guessers playing with their crystal ball are saying that it is supposed to be clearing off.
