Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Yep, we had just about everything Mother Nature could throw at us. Bravo compound even got snow although we are down at Alpha.
#1 Son and I went hunting this morning. I filled my Trask Unit Doe tag.
After we got the deer taken care of, son & DIL and sons stepson, wife and 6 month old old went out to Grand Island to the Pumpkin Patch. Then it was back to Sons in-laws for dinner.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 39 at Alpha but warming up fast. Rain has taken a paused here but it doesn’t look paused for long.
POD for today is to have some couch therapy for sore muscles and stay warm and dry.
Good morning, big weather day yesterday here in central Oregon....Sunny this morning and in the 30's clouds are moving back in. Good day to stay in and watch the race.
Good afternoon Oregon and and everyone everywhere else.
Still at Alpha. Heading back tomorrow after dropping deer off at butcher.
Could be a very fun drive back to Bravo…
Rich, Glad to hear you are going to stick around for a few more years. I have a job for you, I'll even pay you cash...... The commute might be just a tad to far though. Good luck with retirement !
Thanks TIm. I am enjoying the time off and having no schedule. Easy to do now since I'm still fully "employed" and drawing a decent wage. Looks like real retirement will be Feb 2. Still trying to figure it all out. Is that job a remote job?
Finally managed to get into the woods. Didn't see anything but managed to find a new mushroom spot. Could of filled a couple 5 gal buckets but we don't need that much.
Hoping to get out again this week but we'll see. I've got bills to pay, paperwork to fill out, and reimbursements to file today... weeeeeee......
Good late evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got the deer up to Jacobmulin’s meats in Cornelius this morning. Ran a couple of other errands then took off for Bravo Compound.b Got here in 30 degree weather about 1900.
