Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 21 with a solid, high overcast. It hasn't warmed up any in the last 1-1/2 hours.
Been seeing a cat around the last 2 or 3 months, very periodically on the camera's and seemed to be hanging our around the woods. Wasn't sure where it came from or if it had a home. For the last week or so it seems to be hanging out around here more often than not. It seems to have lost a little weight, especially since the cold weather has set in. A week ago, CJ sniffed it out of the tall grass and put it up a tree before I realized what she was doing as she normally goes out to that area to do her business. We'll have to decide what we are going to do as I don't want to see it starve or freeze, especially when the snow hits, if it hangs around. We had a problem with people dumping cats at the old farm and ranch. I was hoping we were isolated enough here that wouldn't be a problem.....

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Down to 35. No trick or treaters here, but the Gilchrist / Crescent community was out in full force, including all the fire trucks and ambulances at the old lumber mill mall. Adults and kids were having a blast.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 29.7, down from 30.2 a half hour ago. Currently under blue sky but surrounded by clouds. Supposed to get windy and rainy around noon or 1500 depending on which forecast you look at.
