EGR cooler gaskets; the little metal one underneath if you even still have it. I chased one on a truck for a couple of months before I found it. When you circled that spot it instantly came to mind.

EGR cooler is no longer there, good idea though. What I was hearing was air pushing past the intake manifold gasket and the squeal heard in the videos above is hardly there now that I've tightened the manifold bolts a bit more.
I believe the torque sequence chart I followed was incorrect and torque wrench not accurate thus the lack of gasket seating.
Does it have a block off plate of some sort? It's been a long time since I messed with one, 2017 I think, was the last time I had my intake off. I never had problems with the intake gaskets, even after I ported and port matched the intake, heads, and gaskets. I had several different kinds of cooler deletes over the years.
One of you gents know which torque sequence is the correct one?
The first one is for an 03 intake with the crossover in the back. I don't particularly like either one. I like to start in the middle of both runners and go in a circular patten from middle out on both arms at the same time, like 5 then 13 with a 1/4" ratchet and just snug.

EGR valve is still in place and there's an EGR delete kit in place, not sure about any block off plate, but pic for reference:
I did follow the correct torque pattern then, good to know.
I snugged up 14 of the 16 bolts yesterday(didn't get the 2 behind the FICM)the air noise/squeal is barely noticeable now, but on the next nice day I'm going to take everything apart again, loosen all bolts then snug them all up again in the pattern you mentioned and see how that makes out.
Everything was fine before I loosened the intake manifold bolts to replace that O ring doughnut so not EGR related.
