Evening! That is what is normal for us most of the dreaded season but we do have short spells of single digits. As for White Sheet, it is anyone's guess as to normal for my part of WV. 6-12 total some years and 3 feet others!

Over here in Eastern Washington we have had three days of below zero temperatures, which is odd to have the extended cold like that. The sun is out now, it feels good.... Well, it looks like it should feel good.

Tim, it looks like you sent your cold spell to WV and not Nebraska. Starting the morning at 17°, windchill of 12°, some white sheet covering everything, more expected and that frozen snap to last about 5 days!
Re-Retiring and moving to Florida is sounding pretty good!

Hi Rod, we are starting to warm up here, started the day 7 above. We have snow in the forecast for a couple day followed up with some freezing rain, oh what joy.

 

 

Happy Frozen Artic Hump Day Washington, Tim, Wayne and all the crew. Starting the day at 3° and breezy with a windchill of -7°. But the Soothsayer and their crystal ball predicts sunny and about 25° today. Maybe that will help clear the thin layer of ice and sheet off the road!

Started the day at 14° with light snow coming down.

 

Happy Hump Evening Tim, Wayne and Crew. It was nice and sunny today and we made about 20° but the wind made it brutal out. Tonight 14° and tomorrow a heat wave of about 37°. Then for my weekend eve, we get more white sheet into Friday. The weekend doesn't look to be very pleasant, and we will have some worm up next week as well. The Soothsayers and their crystal ball predictions say in the 40's! WE, will see!
I am sending the Wifey to town tomorrow and take care of business while I am spending my Friday at the Sammich Factory so I won't need to go out over the weekend!

As long as the power and internet stay on, I don't notice the weather working from home. Just another excuse to stay in pj's and drink coffee all day

 

Mornin' gents, there is light at the end of the freezer. It's warmer today, temps in the mid 20's this morning but not expected to change much today. However, it snowed here for about 18 hours starting yesterday noon. Fortunately it was a light snow, before changing to freezing rain this morning. It's just now starting to clear. The storm left us with about 4" of snow with a 1/4" crust of ice on top so the roads are a little slickery. Another good day to hibernate. Stay warm, y'all.

Wayne, you got more than we did up North. We got about 2" last night and the forecast is for freezing rain starting on Sunday.

Trustin, I think I saw a rodent crawl into your Excursion, you better go check it out....

 

Ha! There might be a family living in the Ex in all the junk my kids destroy the middle with and how much crap I leave in the back. It's been getting a light workout escorting the kids to/from school and the snow route bus stop at the front of the neighborhood. All the zig-zagging tire marks outside the beaten paths are mine

It's still getting me everywhere I need to be, no issues or serviced parts since I had it overhauled, years ago now - I run a hot performance tune except when I tow tune it and it boogies ok for a boat anchor. I'm slowly losing all the door sensors tho, so right now the truck doesn't know when the driver door opens, so the radio and stuff stay on when I get home and time out after 5 minutes or whatever. I looked at fixing it, but I hate working in the dern doors, so I just detached the sensors one by one as they fail so my door ajar light doesn't stay on and prevent the alarm from locking. Otherwise, pretty trusty ol 6.0 which is pleasantly surprising. If I can find a used coach after sorting out my trailer situation, it'll be amusing to see which one costs more per year. ​​​​​​

Between the Excursion in the snow and the Mustang on dry days, I'm pretty sure my neighborhood has me pinned as the guy always doing something sideways or smokey in the street

Got the kiddo off to school today after a snow day yesterday. Almost didn't bother. Feeling really sluggish trying to pull everything together this morning for just a Friday. Bus stop wasn't very exciting, so I think i lot of parents declared it the weekend.

Fantastic Friday afternoon Washington, Tim, Wayne, Trustin and crew. Started the morning the warmest we have been in 2 weeks at 24° and now a blistering 32° but we have a fresh 5 inches of white sheet and the weekend will be back in the Freezer!

Anyway it is the Weekend Eve and almost time to party. With the roads covered or was until the plow came through about an hour ago, I have no place to be until Monday when I must be back at the Sammich Factory!
I am not sure what happened today, but I cleaned off the computer desk and I actually have room for a book! LOL
