I don't have any definitive information, but my F-350 with the 5th Whl. prep was built on 7/31, released on 8/2 and shipped on 8/3, so I don't believe they could get that done off-site and shipped so quickly. Just an anecdotal observation.
Yeah, it's not making any sense to me either. I'm beginning to think something happened to my truck and the other two that are stuck in production limbo. AlbertaHooter is at 14 days, WhiskeyTango and I are at 11 days. I just scoured the list of trucks that have been released and found 1 that took 8 days and another that took 10. The vast majority are released in 5 days or less, so what gives?
Does anybody know if there is a way to find out if something went wrong on the line and your vehicle got booted for repairs? I'm starting to think something fishy is going on, and I'm not too happy about the prospect of getting a $70,000 lemon.

seem like a lot of work and opportunity to screw something up to take the bed back off after it’s built. Too much wiring and the filler neck that would have to be loosened/removed/adjusted to raise the bed to put it on. Would be so much easier to install it on the line before the bed is installed.
That image beats even what Ford marketing used. Glad I settled on Atlas Blue after canceling Antimatter and Rapid Red so many good choices!! F450 Lariat Ultimate production week 30 August per 20 July email. I have the UTT, bedliner, panoramic and adaptive cruise, my transport may be by truck as I am 600 miles from KTP in Chas SC
AlbertaHooter here, and I was wondering the same thing. I’ve never had a Ford before, and I’m new to all this tracking stuff, but my truck has been “In Production” for a looong time, and not really sure what it truly means. I have an ETA of Aug 30-Sept 5. Anyone know when I may actually see this truck in the Great White North?
2/3 of mine just went in production this week. I was also told September. I wonder if they are making yours sit so they can get enough of them together to batch ship them via rail to Western Canada.

That might be true for AbertaHooter, but I'm 2 hours south of the plant. My dealer is supposed to run a VVR this morning, but he did tell me last night that they are having all kinds of delays in shipping, truck and rail.
Anybody else’s truck stuck at the rail yard just waiting to be delivered to your dealer? This is the worst part. Mine has been 2 hours away for a week
Mine was stuck waiting to get on a train. 7/29 release and finally got the shipment email early this morning. That being said, my eta has always been 8/23-8/29 (although my dealer said it’s updated to 8/19-8/24).

Ford is weird because they listed 10 transit days which was Wednesday the 4th, but then said delivery window was 8/7-8/13. Either way, the final sprint from rail yard to dealer appears to be one to not take lightly when trying to anticipate when to receive your truck
I haven't read all the recent replies, and don't know how all the tracking works yet since my truck isn't even scheduled, but I will say that the 22 that I looked at on a local lot the other day showed a date of 7/21 on the door sticker and was on my lot 8/4, and I am in northeast MS. I know this likely doesn't help anyone, but it hopefully gives me an idea of how long I may be able to expect once mine gets built. Also, I am not sure if the 7/21 is month/day, or month/year... I think it's month/day...
