Once my truck has been loaded on the train I will go and see what the dealer will give me for my old truck. I will then most likely advertise and sell it privately for more. I did this with my wifes car when we bought her Jeep this spring. I was able to get $3000 more than the Jeep dealer offered for my trade from their sister Subaru dealership just down the street. I already have had two different people show interest in my old truck. There just isn't much on the market and that isn't changing anytime soon. If I get a good offer from the dealer fine, I will trade. Make a low offer and I will sell it.
I've also considered selling it myself but here in Florida, the trade value is deducted from the purchase price to determine the amount that is taxable. So for example, if the dealer gives me $30K for my trade that also reduces the amount of sales tax by $1,800. That would mean if I can get $30K from the dealer, I have to sell it for at least $32K just to break even and personally the extra $1K or $2K over that isn't worth going through the aggravation of dealing with tire kickers and bank loan dropouts. IMO

Colorado sales tax works the same but because I am a rural bumpkin my state rate is only 2.9% which makes it easy to recoup, only $700 difference in my case. Our car was purchased by a dealer who saw my craigslist ad. He paid me full retail book value for the car. Cut me a check. The deadbeats did call after the car sold wondering if I had sold it an if I would take $19k instead of the $27k I sold it for... With a serious lack of inventory that will not be resolved soon, you have options. Heck, maybe the dealer will surprise you and be fair. There are plenty of stories like that on here as well.
Well dang. Dealer told me my build day/week is 8/11 awhile back. The system didn't update a change in status. No window sticker. Dealer said the same as they don't show a change of the truck going into the production phase. The truck order was entered into the system 3/26. Interesting that trucks entered into the system later than mine have been delivered and or are in production. Nothing special extra with the truck other than it's Platinum, moonroof, upfitter switches, boost heater & wheel well liners. No bed liner, bed cover, 5th wheel prep and adaptive steering. Wonder if it's the dealer and their allocation making things slow.
Or
How many days does it take for the system to show an update in status?
It hasn't really been updating the past few days. I noticed lots flip back and forth between stages as well. Something is wonky this week.

I think your truck may have been rescheduled. You should ask your dealer.

Thanks. I did ask the dealer today with them stating the same thing I see. He did say he'd check next week to see what's going on. Not sure if they have to wait till Thursday to get an update or if they can get it earlier. I just want to know the ballpark time so I can get the Linex and tonneau cover set up. Plus since I don't have the need for my dually anymore so it'd be nice to get the new truck eventually. Tired of yanking that beast around in the parking lots.
By the way your spreadsheet is a cool item. Surprised it isn't a sticky. Thanks!!!!!

Strange they can't check till next week. My salesman usually texts me back pretty quick. They just have to pull it up in the system.
Thanks you for the compliment! The purgatory thread was stickied for a while, but the mods have certain criteria and limit the number of stickies for tideyness, which I respect.
Well I guess I am one of the LUCKY Friday, August 13, 2021 builds that got pushed to the 14th. Just got notice my F-350 Platinum SRW CCLB, Antimatter Blue, Dark Marsala was actually built as scheduled. Was ordered May 7th and had the dates changed several times. Now the wait to be delivered. Thanks to the Spreadsheet for helping me keep my sanity.

Mine was scheduled for the 13th also, and I have no confirmation it was built.
Something seemed to have happened on the 11th, only 1 truck on the spreadsheet built.
My truck shows shipped on Ford tracker, but on here it just shows in transit & a release date but no shipment date.. has anybody else had this happen with their truck?
I am an IT Pro and worked extensively with FoMoCo several years ago on a consulting contract. Something to keep in mind is Ford uses IBM Mainframe computer systems (since the 1960's) and these are batch (not real time) systems. This might explain the wonky/ad-hoc updates and the various systems being out of sync. I got an email from Ford that my truck is built and ready for shipment, but, my line on the spreadsheet is blank, web portal, and Mach-E tracker all show different status. Things will sync up as the batch processing jobs are run in sequence.

Yes, my status changed to Built and Awaiting Shipment on the Ford tracker about 24 hours ago, but the spreadsheet hasn't updated. Spreadsheet updates seem to be lagging significantly, probably due to the sheer number of trucks on here now. I'd give it some time.
Sundays always return a lot of errors. I can't even pull my truck up on the Mach E tracker.
By Monday, things typically clear up.
The spreadsheet has grown larger than I anticipated. I've been thinking how I can break it down into smaller segments both for better updates and easier viewing. When all the data is not on one spreadsheet, it's harder to spot trends however.
