Received an email from Ford at 1:43am today:Great news! Your 2022 Super Duty F-350 Lariat Crew Cab has been built. We are performing some final inspections on your vehicle and getting it ready for shipment.

Our current estimate for delivery to Archie Cochrane Motors, Inc. is between August 21, 2021 and August 27, 2021.

Now wonder if it will be subject to the rear axle recall.

Built early!

The build week was the 26th from my ford email, and the dealer said the scheduled date was 8/1. Then today I looked at the Mach e tracker, and it says it was built 7/30 and it should be delivered to the dealer by 8/21! The ford tracker hasn't changed. So they must be doing well at the factory! Hopefully they're not rushing to much lol

I located and added 4 2WD trucks, 3 of which were already built. I questioned whether they are scheduling 2WDs yet, and they are. The take rate on retail must just be that low. I think we have 3 on the unscheduled list.

How do you track the rail car? Mine has shipped by rail. It would be nice to check the status of where it is if possible...

If anyone receives information from your dealer that Ford is decontenting (not including in a build that otherwise calls for it) adaptive steering, please let us know.

Please see this thread for more information:

My truck just arrived in mesquite Texas about 2.5 hours north of my dealer. I expect a big uptick in deliveries this week, including my own.

Thanks Phoenixfla! your spreadsheet is awesome, it updated a day or 2 before it shows up on the vehicle order tracking website

as far as the shipping, it often show us 7 days early, is that from the eta start date or the eta end date? Mine shows 18 days in convoy which seems like a long time to drive a truck from Kentucky to CA.

does ford offer a pickup option at the factory? we bought a 2020 corvette, and it was built in Kentucky also, and you pay an extra $1000 but you can pick it up at the corvette museum across the street from the factory. You get the car dealer prepped by the museum staff and you pick it up in the museum, get a private guided tour of the museum. A hot laps session at the road race track across the street and a tour of the factory (we didn't get to do that part, they suspended it due to covid) and of course you get it faster that way, that was my main reason lol. But it was an absolute blast driving it back to California. I surprised my wife with the car at the delivery, she always wanted a corvette, and I am a ford guy, but that new mid engine design is sweet.

I guess trucks are obviously built for utility and work and corvettes are kind of a toy, but I would pick up a new truck at the factory and do a tour etc...

live webcams at delivery may have to click on corvette blvd.

Thanks, I'm glad your finding it useful. I've found they are typically delivered right around the ETA start date.

Unfortunately no factory pickup and no factory tours. One can wish...

I just called the Ford 800 number to try and get the number required to track directly with CSX or UP shipping (rail) companies. They gave me a 4 digit number (two letters two numbers), which I dont think is correct. But they were able to let me know that the latest rail location was Blue Island, Illinois after having been tagged as "In Transit" on 7/27.

Not sure about logistics, but I'm wondering if that is where it start the long trip to the west coast. Since geographically speaking, 6 days from the Ford KTP to Blue Island, IL isn't very far.

My truck first shipped up to Michigan prior to heading south to me in TX. Expect the trains to no go directly to you from the start since this isn't exactly amazon prime lol

My truck just changed status to 'In Production' on the Ford tracker! There is now a link to the window sticker as well, but it still says 'Please Check Back Later'.
No update yet on the Mach-E tracker. Still says 'In Order Processing'.
Build date 8/10.
UPDATE: Two hours later, status went back to 'Order Confirmed', no longer says 'In Production'. Link to window sticker also disappeared. Stupid Ford system...
UPDATE #2: Back to "In Production" this evening, and window sticker is available on Mach-E. Base sticker price is $250 higher than my original build price.

Marcus C. Please resubmit the form with your full VIN. To submit your build date you only need the last five digits but to initially get on the spreadsheet you need to submit your full then. If you're just trying to add your bill date then you have the wrong form. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Brian and I have not looked at the status of my truck order for 30 seconds.....

I am about to stroke out waiting on my truck to go In Production.... This is exacerbated by seeing trucks near my build day start to change status while mine just sits there......

Oh the struggles of being too connected as a consumer! I grew up where you ordered stuff from a catalog by mail and waited and waited and waited and then one day it just appeared. Sometimes I think those days were easier.

Looks like they are prioritizing earlier orders which is good for those that got in line first...its the right thing for them to be doing if they are.

I hear ya! Mine should be built the day after yours and the waiting caused me to create these trackers!

Go check out the Unscheduled list… at least you have a VIN and are seeing progress, many of us ordered before you and still aren’t even as far as you. Granted I only ordered a little over a week before you, but you will see plenty of March, April and May orders still waiting just to get where you’re at.
