You can add your vehicle to the My Ford Pass app by VIN I believe as soon as the VIN is available or shortly thereafter.
BUT at some point, in the Ford Pass App a button appears that allows you to "Activate" your truck. If you press it now it won't sync with your truck because nobody will (likely) accept the request in the truck, but I'm more interested in WHEN that button becomes available.
Is it right when the truck's battery is connected and it's started for the first time? Would be cool if we could figure that out.
My truck was built yesterday, notified this morning, and "Activate Vehicle" button is showing on the screen for the new truck.
Is there a number to call Ford to get an update. My truck was sent to plant on 8/20 and built on 8/30. I do have a VIN as well as an delivery ETA of 9/20-9/26.Yet still has not been released. I have looked to see similar builds that not only have been released but shipped and delivered in the same state.

Your dealer is probably the best bet. Unless you have already tried.

The Retractable Tonneau seems to slow the release frequently.
I hate to be the stick in the mud... I really do... but this seems to be getting worse...
Ford Marketing says they see no date for my VIN in their system, only that I am "In Production."
My VIN was already in the FordPass app, but it showed nothing... so I deleted it and tried to add it back (thinking it would force the "activation" screen others are now seeing)... no luck. The website won't take the VIN, and a pop up tells me to re-enter or cancel when trying to enter it. The app told me the FordPass app wasn't responding, so after a delete, reinstall and trying again, it now tells me that this is an invalid VIN. I contact the FordPass Chat Now people and they tell me it's either a typo, or an invalid VIN.. I explained it was correct and sent it to them. She said she could not pull my window sticker, but that it was probably just something on their end...
Wow... and I thought I was doing good for a minute.... go Ford!

Precisely why I am not hold my breath through ANY of it. There are already loads of trucks on the list ordered well after mine being delivered, a bunch more in production. I think the whole system SUCKS... Pretty sure I have said this before but it bears mentioning regularly I think.
Yes, it still pulls up for me. But for some time Phoenixfla wasn't able to pull it up when I was for some reason too...

Yeah... I know it's just a truck, but dang, I have gotten myself worked up the last week about it... my original build day was 9/7... when I asked CybermanD over on BOF he said it was rescheduled to 9/9... I asked him for another one on that day and he told me he would only give me one update a week... so I spoke with my dealer, he said it was supposed to be built 9/9, which was the day before... spent all weekend watching others getting built, but not mine (and don't get me wrong, I'm happy for those that are actually getting them built!). Then today when I spoke to my dealer he told me what he saw last Saturday, but not today that it was still scheduled for 9/9... hello, at least act like you are concerned my truck isn't built past the date... and then the rest today... I didn't get this worked up when I was still waiting jut to get the VIN... and I haven't gotten an email saying it's getting moved back, which by now is clearly into another build week... I dunno... I just need to step away from all of this for a while! lol...

The build week is the most stressful. I'd relax, yours shows in production. If you look at previous weeks you'll find trucks that were not sent to production, but that's not your case.
Sometimes we have to just take a breather. I was so stressed over it at times, that I only realized it after distracting myself with watching a movie or something.

Yes, I'm stressing. Not of the B/W 9-13 are showing a production date on the tracker and haven't received another email. Getting a Ford Pass not responding message when I tried to load the VIN, but the other functionality is working for the other truck? I'm thinking no truck yet?

You think that’s stressful? Try being me. Built 9/3, released 9/4. Still not shipped as far as anyone knows. I’m about a 6 hour drive from KTP. Have already volunteered to drive down there with a friend to pick it up & bring it back on my own dime. LOL

Maybe u broke the vin from loading it so much into the many trackers!
No man like someone else said just step away thats when u will get the email your truck is built. All these trackers are not set up for instantaneous results they were made to check on every once and a while not minute by minute...u are just driving yourself crazy
If your tracking your rail car, the ramp code (on your window sticker) is associated with the geographic location of your dealer. I believe each offloading rail yard has 1 or more ramp codes. I'm trying to collect them all.
Check the spreadsheet to see if your ramp code is on it (in red). It's not very complete yet, but we're slowly making progress.
Thanks to everyone for your help. I could not do this without your assistance.
