A lot of people want to know how much time certain post-production options add to the ship date. Things like wheel well liners, mud flaps, roll bed covers. I'm thinking about swapping out some of the options on the color chart (like moonroof) for post-production options.
Alternatively I can add additional color coded columns, but I'm afraid it may make things further cluttered.
I need a solid list of the options that are added off-site before shipping, anyone have that?
My spray in liner and folding bed cover took 8 days.
Mine apparently arrived in Portland OR via rail on Monday. The dealer is just waiting on confirmation for when they expect it to be delivered via truck to them. Which is about 2 hours away from Portland.
Ordered my F-350 5/5, built on 7/31, shipped on 8/3, arrived at dealer this morning 8/11. Going to go pick it up tomorrow. Looking forward to a road trip this weekend. Life is good.
I see lots of spray in bed liners that show shipped the day after production day. I'm 3 days post production and still says 'in production'.
I'm not even sure what to think. I am five days post build date and still In Production. However I have an estimated arrival date.(Not sure how that can be without a ship date.). Only have a bed liner to add.
I did see my truck show up on my dealers website (confirmed by VIN) recently, noticed it two days ago. Showing In Transit. I was starting to kinda think maybe it shipped, but a glitch wasn't giving the update on tracker spreadsheet or other tracking pages. Someone else mentioned it auto populates on dealers website once it ships.
I emailed my salesman yesterday about all this and asked for an update. Got no response and the truck is no longer on the dealers website. In my history when I click on the direct link to the truck, it now shows sold.
I am not a conspiracy theorist, but........
Definitely calling dealership tomorrow when they open.
My window sticker shows that it's going to ship via "Convoy" which seems hard to believe since I'm in CO. The VVR from the dealer doesn't list a transport company or rail car number even though it's "in transit, shipped from plant". So, I'm unsure if it's just sitting in the rail yard waiting for a car or...?
For what it's worth, I had the spray in bedliner and retractable tonneau cover on mine and I was in production for nearly 14 days. My best guess is that they had to wait for the liner to cure some before they could install the retractable tonneau.
As far as what to include and what leave off, I'll defer to your judgement on that because you've done an amazing job on the layout of this thing.

Same on mine with a 7 day delay... figured between curing the liner and installing the cover was the holdup on mine.
On several tabs there is the Transit column, wondering if that is the actual number of days from release to delivery - for trucks that have been delivered? I looked at various tabs but wasn't sure if Transit was just a calculation based on estimates or actuals? It might be helpful for folks to know after being released ( you pick), how many actual days it's taking to be delivered. It might give folks an idea how long it's taking to get to various states. I realize this isn't an exact indication as logistical factors go into the various shipments but would give us an idea. If this info is in there and I'm missing please point me in the right direction. thx @Phoenixfla
